Dr Mick performed surgery with success, I did not have any post-operative issues, my recovery went well and throughout the process she, and her Staff, were attentive, present and available. I highly recommend her.

I am so grateful to Dr Mick, her wonderful staff, and all the drs and nurses that took care of me in the hospital. Dr Mick is a gifted and caring surgeon. She checked in on me several times a day! She did a mitral repair, a MAZE procedure and an atrial clip, all robotically! It’s not yet three weeks since my surgery and people don’t even know that I went though anything. Honestly, it was kinda no big deal. I am amazed by the whole experience.

I was referred to Dr. Mick for a robotic valve repair. She and her team were always careful with patients’ need before and after the procedure. Her team did comprehensive examinations to ensure that i was indeed eligible for the robotic procedure before the surgery and went through all the important details with me in a succinct and informative manner. During and post surgery, the nursing team was in general really careful in taking care of the patients. In addition to her team’s regular early morning post-op visits, she would personally visit me about once a day post op to check on me. I was walking 2 days post op and out of the hospital 4 days post op, without any major side effects, and started going back to work from home 2 weeks post op! While I would not wish these surgeries on anyone, I would not go to anyone else because Dr. Mick and her team made me feel like being in safe hands and humanely cared for, in addition to the fact that they basically saved my life! No words can explain my gratefulness and I wish her and her team all the best!

I can’t rave enough about Dr. Mick and her whole team. She is a gifted surgeon and she is a caring human. Dr. Mick repaired my mitral valve robotically and also fixed some other issues. I felt very connected to her before the surgery and then throughout my hospital stay. I never felt alone. I always felt that I was in the best best hands! It’s been three weeks since my surgery and I have been going out for walks and to dinner for at least the last week! I am forever grateful to Dr Mick and to all the drs and nurses at Cornell Weill!
