All I can say is Dr. Lee is one of THE BEST surgeons I have ever met.  I had an issue effecting a nerve in leg for years.   After finally diagnosing I had a schwannoma pressing up against my sciatic nerve, I looked for a great surgeon to perform the very delicate surgery.  From the first second I met Dr. Lee and his team, they were highly respectful of my needs and questions.    Dr. Lee took the time to talk to me about any and all questions I had.  And, even more important, Dr. Lee experience and confidence told me right away he was the right person to do the surgery.  I knew there was no reason to talk to any other surgeons to get a second or third opinion.  The surgery was about a year and a half ago and all I can say still today is that he gave me my life back and full mobility.  I have a small child that I was so afraid that I would not be able to play on the ground with and chase after.  I am happy to say that after the surgery, I felt relief almost immediately - and was able to roll around with my son on the ground and do what dads do!   All I can say is that if you need the best surgeon with compassion and incredible skills, there is no need to go to anyone other than Dr. Lee!--Paul V

Dr Lee recently did a trigger thumb 10 min release surgery that was highly successful as well as virtually pain free. He is a really skilled surgeon with a responsive office and great bedside manner. Highly commend.

I have never met a more arrogant, obnoxious "doctor" in my life. He is unfit to be in the same room with Human Beings.

I recently had hand surgery with Dr. Lee.  Prior to surgery I was not able to close my hand, and was in constant pain.  Now two weeks after my surgery, thanks to Dr. Lee, I'm pain free and I have total mobility with my hand, it's like a miracle.  He is an excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I saw Dr.Lee for a second opinion on a hand laceration that surgery had been recommended for. Dr. Lee was assisted by Dr. Rambeau, they examined the laceration and found that surgery was not necessary. They are very kind, professional and informative - explaining their processes and tests and answering all of my parents questions.The office is nice and decorated with pictures of hands, nerves and happy athletes that made me feel like I was in the right place.All around great experience. I had a problem that was worsening over the course of the year. I had a theory that my primary care doctor disagreed with. Luckily he referred me to Dr. Lee anyway. Turned out I was right, and surgery was require. Dr. Lee fixed me up. It’s been a couple years now and I have never had a problem again

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Steve K. Lee.  I suffered a devastating crush and compound fracture to my hand with little expectation of recovery.  When I came to see him, two fingers were essentially immobile after my first emergency surgery 4 months prior by another surgeon.  Words cannot describe how limiting this was in my daily active family life. Lee was consistently informative, positive, supportive and committed to excellence.  His humble and quiet demeanor was always present as he listened to my case.  I could see his wheels turning as he thoughtfully informed me of my options, guiding me on timing of  future Tenolysis surgery along with goals I needed to accomplish with my hand therapy team (Able Hands in Old Bridge - also exceptional) prior to the second surgery.  His approach in the office visits perfectly matched the skill and expertise he brought to the operating room.  He spent 3 hours meticulously removing adhesions and scar tissue to offer me the best possible results.There is no better hand surgeon in NYC than Dr. Steve K.
