The worst experience in a While! 1. Had to wait for 2h (!) for a scheduled appointment. 2. Asked the doctor for certain blood tests. Received random blood test results, not what I asked for. 4. Had issues to access my test results, portal is horrible. Had to talk to a customer service to resolve it. 5. Doctor made fun of me (??) and said that some patients want to be over tested. 4. And a cherry on my cake - the bills cannot be paid online. You have to call them during their business hours and give your CC info over the phone. Will not step into this doctor’s practice again.

Very poor experience. I mentioned my hormones had been out of whack and he said “oh well that happens to women” (chuckle). Dr Weiss did not take my concerns seriously and spent about 2-3 minutes per $200 session with me before ordering the same (expensive) blood tests both times. The receptionists were impolite, and the woman from billing (the only way to pay besides literally mailing in a check or cc#) was rude and unprofessional. Yikes.

New to this Doctor, Results Explained Bravo !!! Detailed, consiencious, explains in language I understood so I know what is happening to me Filled me with confidence professional manner and excellence this Doctor is Great I want and Trust this doctors expertise, thank you Dr Weiss.

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Weiss office. I called as a new patient and the office confirmed they take my insurance (Aetna Choice POS II). When I came in for my appointment at 1 pm, I was not seen until 2 pm. While I waited, I could hear the doctor on a zoom with his door opened which meant I heard confidential patient information that I found quite unprofessional. Following my appointment, I paid my co-pay and went home. A few hours later, I received a nasty phone call from the receptionist stating that they actually did not take my insurance and that they would be billing me in full. I was confused as she herself had confirmed my insurance but she said I had lied about the insurance I have. Why would I lie about this? The doctor and office manager also refused to speak with me or help me figure out what had happened. I called my insurance and they confirmed that this office does in fact take my insurance! My insurance also stated that the office originally refused to share their tax ID with her which is typical business practice. It is evident this office is incredibly mismanaged and I most definitely do not recommend!

My initial visits with D. Weiss started out great but then the service went downhill from there. I had an appt scheduled one time and when I arrived they told me that I would need to reschedule because he wasn't coming into the office. Then I had another appt and showed up at the office on 37th Street only to find out that they had moved and no one called to let me know. When I called to leave a message for Dr. Weiss to call me back as I was very upset he literally called me back in 5 min saying they had been trying to call me for weeks but couldn't get through which I knew was untrue. The office staff is iffy at best, my test results were sent to the office multiple times yet they claimed they never received them. I asked Dr. Weiss if my blood work showed I had hypothyroidism and he said everyone does. During the pandemic I had two televisits scheduled and each time I had to call after the scheduled time to ask why he hadn't called me yet and only then would I hear back.

I have been with him for about 20 years. He came recommended to me by one of the greatest cardio-thorastic surgeons for good reason. Now ALL my family members go to him including my 99 year old mother. I listen and comply to his judgement and although in my late 70's with type 2 diabetes am in well under control and in good shape. Thank you Dr. Weiss.

I have been a Type1 diabetic for 39 years and have NEVER had a better diagnostician or advisor than Dr. Weiss. I have only seen him twice but in these two visits he has already transformed my glucose management by suggesting what no endocrinologist has suggested before - and I have seen more than a few so called experts - to get me to the point of almost perfect glucose level control. By a combination of the right measures of insulin doses - for both corrective and prospective purposes - with very simple nutritional advice on carbohydrate management while acknowledging it's difficulties. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is truly superb.
