Susan A. Gauthier's Online Review Report Card

My mom had a problem with her back and Dr. Gauthier put her off for 3 weeks to get an MRI. Being a patient with MS she should understand the urgency of getting me an MRI ASAP. I'm still waiting on results of my MRI. I've called her office multiple times and get an answering service or voicemail.

Highly regarded amongst her peers, patients, superiors . . . workers, I am confident in her as my partner in health; whose vast knowledge, experience, expertise . . . research I rely to stay healthy through routine checkups . . . crisis. On visits, she is in the moment with ONLY me putting me at ease and making me comfortable to talk to her; addressing all of my concerns . . . questions (ome that doesn't pertain to her and even some that I haven't thought of myself); especially during my telehealth COVID visit with her. I am so very thankful for her and grateful that she is and has been my partner . . . provider for several (8+) years. Thank you Dr. Gauthier (A.K.A Dr. G) MJ

I have been with Dr. Gauthier for over 10 years. I saw doctors before her who did not see me as a person. Dr. Gauthier always looks at the whole picture to ensure the best possible quality of life. She is thorough and extraordinarily caring. She is the best part of MS. I’m so grateful to be under her care.

Dr Gauthier is an outstanding doctor. Having seen MS experts at Hopkins, Queen Square London, and Brigham & Women's, can attest she is among the best in the world. She has deep specialty in MS and applies expertize in a very thorough and candid manner. With excellent patient manner, she respects patient decisions and supports their goals. If you have MS you need an expert partner for the long haul. Dr Gauthier is an excellent partner.

It's hard enough to go through this but having Dr Gauthier at my side has made a world of difference. Couldn't pick a better doc.

I live in Florida and feel blessed to have found Dr. G. I've been a patient for over 10 years! While it is not the most convenient situation for me, I find she is worth the visit. My experience has been all positive which include excellent communication, very responsive to emails/messages, very knowledgeable, current, and over all kindness and desire to help her patients. Very thorough with tests, too!

I liked her until she told me I should take a trip to a hot climate because having MS should not stop me enjoying life. She knows absolutely nothing about the pains of having a MS to even say something like that. I wouldn't be able to go to any environment that above a certain temperature without having major flareups.

Must say, there is something very peaceful about visiting this doctor, from the office in general, the staff that assists, and absolutely the visit with the doctor herself, this is all very calm and very well-organized. Endless kudos to all!!

This doctor is very corporate, goes straight to the point as far as putting you on the meds but doesn't check other aspects like your hormone levels etc. Doesn't develop a personal plan cater to your particular needs for example: doesn't give you a plan/guide that shows your progress, for better or worse aside from the medication & her follow ups are only during appointments. Considering the kind of field she's in, this Dr doesn't really show compassion or a sense of personal attention.

Dr. Gauthier always listens and responds with support and appropriate up to date feedback information.
