List of Szilard Kiss's Reviews
Great opthalmologist, insane wait times. I waited for 45 minutes for a routine eye exam today. Seems like they assume all patients are Upper East Side retirees who have nowhere better to be than sitting in a waiting room.
Dr Kiss is an outstanding medical professional. Extremely capable in the operating room with excellent surgical outcomes. He is also outstanding in terms of diagnosis and strategic maintenance. One of the best doctors that I have seen.
He is an excellent doctor. Not only are his credentials top notch, but he communicates well and cares about his patients. I have mild macular degeneration and am being monitored. I highly recommend him.
The office is an eye clinic across from the hospital. So patients are seen by fellows specializing in ophthalmology as well as Dr Kiss. But he is an excellent caring doctor. I have early stage macular degeneration, which he monitors.
He is an excellent doctor. Not only is he a top retinal specialist but he is caring and always answers my questions. He genuinely cares about his patients. The office is large and somewhat like a clinic since fellows in opthalmology are being trained, but I highly recommend Dr. Kiss.
Dr. Kiss and his team have been following my case since I was first diagnosed with a super rare automimmune disease that affects my eyes. They all have been great. They are always looking out for me to make sure all testing are done on time and my care is being followed well.
I can’t recommend Dr Kiss. On the several occasions I saw him he never once sat down. After a three hour wait in semi-air conditioned waiting rooms in summer, after scans and tests that were never explained, he’s come into the room with his body half-turned to the door. On my last visit he was commenting on an old scan and I pointed out a new one had been done on that very day. He refreshed the screen and said something about the current one being lost in cyberspace. I don’t know if he is arrogant as others have suggested. Maybe he’s just busy. All I do know is that I was never given information about my condition, unless I asked a specific question, which had required research on my end. No doubt he knows what he’s doing technically. But his knowledge is not imparted.
The wait time could be long, he does have a lot of patients because he’s very popular because of how good of an ophthalmologist he is, just be patient it will be worth it.
I called Dr. Kiss’ office on a Wednesday because I was seeing floaters in my left eye was not doing so well. I told them what was going on and they said to come in as soon as possible and at the end of the conversation asked me if I was seeing flashes of light. I said yes. They said you need to get here as soon as possible. All of the doctors at the office that spoke to me let me know that this was not something to put off because I would go blind literally in a few days. They did the procedure immediately and saved my eyesight. It is never comfortable having work done with your eyeball, but they really made the experience as good as it possibly could have been in my opinion. That was more than three years ago. Dr Kiss has an amazing demeanor and gurney side manner. I would recommend him to everyone.
Dr. Kiss is a wonderful doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
