The Best Dr Nagy has delivered all 3 of my children and I trust her implicitly. She was my dream doctor. Excellent from a clinical perspective, and incredibly warm and caring. No concern went unaddressed. She makes sure her patients are heard and comfortable from beginning to end. I could not recommend her more highly, she is simply the best.

Best Doctor Dr. Nagy is very professional, shows compassion and brilliant! She does not rush to see you and pay great attention to you. She is very meticulous about her work!

Unhappy with Birth Experience Dr. Nagy is a wonderful person and I felt so comfortable with her throughout my pregnancy. But I’m so distraught over how my birth experience went. Dr. Nagy encouraged me to get induced once I was only a few days past by due date. When I asked her about risks of induction, she said nothing! She never warned me about “the cascade of interventions.” I labored for over hours and had an epidural for most of it, so I had minimal movement during labor. I got an infection from all of the cervical checks and was rushed to push. Dr. Nagy didn’t even end up being the doctor to do my delivery because the induction took so long. I ended up with severe perineal trauma and my body will never be the same. I wish I had just waited a few more days to see if labor would start naturally. There was no medical reason to get induced. While I can’t know for sure what would’ve happened, I have this unshakeable feeling that it was the wrong choice and this was totally avoidable.

I figured I’d write another review postpartum 6 weeks. As a first time mum and patient of Dr Nagy, I cannot speak highly enough of her. Dr Nagy was recommended to me by two friends, both women of color, who were eager to find an OB that made them feel seen, who was knowledgeable, nurturing and above all someone you could trust to honour your birth preferences and keep you safe. I had just that in Dr Nagy. From our first appt she was always incredibly warm, attentive, she made time to ask if I had questions (I always had many) and despite being busy and probably the most in demand OB at WCM LM, I never ever felt rushed. My birth story initially didn’t go as planned as I ended up being induced early, but Dr Nagy took her time explaining each step to me in detail, she allowed me time to go home and prepare before heading back to the hospital, and she went above & beyond to ensure the NYP care team took great care of me. The nurses and PA’s through my 3 day labor were incredible! Unlike anything I imagined from a US hospital given I’m from the UK originally and all the horror stories you hear about the US medical system. Whatever expectations or negative narratives I had in mind, the NYP team broke all of that down. I feel truly blessed to have had Dr Nagy as my OB through my pregnancy, and even though she didn’t end up delivering my baby because she was off duty, I had the best experience with all the other OBs and felt in good hands. The nursing team are one of a kind at NYP LMH I’m so so grateful for everything they did for us. I will miss seeing Dr Nagy and her warm, caring and extremely authentic manner. She is a rare find!!

I see how much her staff are happy to work with her and imagine being her patient. I consider myself lucky to have her as my doctor. She is an amazing, beautiful, and humble human being. Excellent OB and person Dr. Nagy was my OB throughout my pregnancy and the delivery of my first child-- I can't say enough great things about her and the care she provided. She's thoughtful, warm, reassuring, and intelligent. My delivery was...fun? She and her team were just great. Wait times for appointments could be long, but I truly believe it's because she spends adequate time with every patient.

I highly recommend Dr Nagy and indeed referred my friend who delivered 6 weeks after me to her. Dr Nagy always answered my questions quickly and I had a very smooth delivery with her.

I am a former gynecological patient of Dr. Nagy, and I am thrilled to begin this new chapter with her support. Dr. Nagy took the time to thoroughly explain what to expect throughout this journey, making me feel at ease about the upcoming appointments. She provided helpful resources for us to explore at our own pace and made sure we knew that the lines of communication with her and the Weill Cornell office are always open. As a first-time, soon-to-be parent, this level of care and support means the world to me.
