Would never return. Doctor Morrissey needs to learn bedside manner and control his temper. He told me if I wanted to leave after waiting almost 4 hrs I should. I did. When asked for a Zane’s to relax me. The nurse did nothing. I give the hospital a 1. And had better results with Robert wood Johnson in nj. Do not go across the river to my. I have old many people not to use columbia
Very nice hospital - university campus! New York Presbyterian hospital and Columbia University Irving Medical Center are located in the same area which spans multiple buildings. A bit away from the city center but close enough to commute easily by trains A, C and 1.
Worst hospital ever
They have the best doctors there. There is a often a long wait time in the Emergency Room but if you are a patient your doctor is called
Bad Attitude, don't care for emergencies
ER is a nightmare
This goes out to the VC3 clinic. I can't believe after 6 years they're still doing this. When you call to make changes to your appointment, nobody ever picks up, it's as if staff is non existent. I've been calling every single day for 9 days straight to schedule an appointment and not a soul. When I did come here before, if you have an am appointment, might as well out of work for the entire day because you're not getting out until close to closing hours there. Its embarrassing that a hospital of this caliber has an abysmal clinic. If you have any orthopedic needs, please save the frustration and time and go somewhere else. Even staff here says it's a joke because when they try to call internally it's as no one working there
Terrible Terrible patient services. If u have an issue there is nobody to talk to. They are arrogant condescending and cruel with zero flexibility on any of their self made, self serving so called policies. probably the only time their attitude might change is when one of these so called decision makers will themselves be terminally ill and in constant pain, maybe then something will change. I have a feeling this will happen sooner rather than later because there is a G-D running this world and he sees all this needless suffering they are causing patients and their families
I had the privilege of seeing an excellent Doctor that I will not name in this review because I do want want my horrible experience with the billing department to reflect poorly on the exceptional care I received from the Doctor and staff. The nightmare experience I had with billing was the complete opposite. For months I've spent hours trying to resolve a billing error it created. I spoke with numerous representatives and their supervisors that were rude, incompetent, and dismissive. My concern was passed back and forth between Millstein Hospital and Columbia Doctors billing departments each blaming the issue on the other and both refusing to help. The issue stems from a routine ct scan. I was told the procedure was not covered by insurance but I could pay $200 cash-in-advance which I did. Weeks later I was shocked to receive a bill for over $1,000. I thought saving my receipts and sending them as proof of payment would quickly resolve the issue. It did not. Billing departments on both sides said they never heard of a "cash in advance price" and had "no notes" that I had pre-paid for the procedure. I was questioned and asked "who gave you that incorrect information?" All insisted I was responsible for the $1K bill and that I needed to dispute the charge with the other side. This took dozens of phone calls, multiple emails, and hours of my time after frequently being cut off and transferred. Cyndi, Pam, Jacky, you are all rude and get an F for terrible service. Millstein Billing staff, you treat people so poorly it's incredible. To anyone seeking treatment here save your records, cross your fingers, say a prayer, and good luck navigating this maze of confusion and dysfunction.
Amazing people surrounded by incompetence.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
