Mike is truly the best! He is incredibly thoughtful and diligent in his patient care, always going above and beyond. Mike consistently thinks outside the box to solve even the most challenging cases, and he genuinely puts his patients first.

I’ve worked with Mike for years, through egg retrievals, transfers and first trimester of my pregnancy, and I would highly recommend him for all these phases. He’s so passionate about what he does, very knowledgeable and up to date with the latest research. Both transfers that I worked with him I got pregnant (had two failed transfer before working with him). Fertility treatment is a long journey, and Mike is always so uplifting and cheering and fun to talk to. I always feel so well cared for, relaxed and calmed after our sessions. Communication is so easy; he’s always just one text away. Wholeheartedly recommend him!!

I've been receiving acupuncture treatments for fertility, and while I'm still on my journey, I wholeheartedly recommend Mike to anyone else walking this path. His expertise and compassionate approach make all the difference.

I dislike giving harsh reviews, but I strongly advise against the Berkley Center for anyone seeking emotionally sensitive, holistic care. The acupuncturist I saw does not practice traditional Chinese medicine; instead, he relies heavily on allopathy and diagnostic exams. If I had wanted that approach, I would have sought a different kind of doctor. In just two sessions, he dismissed my concerns, made an inappropriate comment about my fertility journey, and failed to acknowledge how his tone affected me emotionally. While this kind of dynamic may be generally tolerated in NYC, it has no place in patient-centered care. When working with people in vulnerable situations, empathy and respect are essential. Unfortunately, in my experience, his approach lacked both.

My experience with Mike echoes that of other reviewers - he's a rarity among providers in the fertility space and a gem among humans. His relentless optimism, kindness, depth of knowledge and sense of humor are incredible assets at any time but particularly as you go through the ups and downs of fertility treatment. I'm so grateful I found him and I wish many others will be able to get the experience of having him in their corner.

That’s why it’s so important to surround yourself with people who are genuinely invested in your success. From the very beginning, Mike was exactly that kind of person for me. I started acupuncture with Mike two months before my embryo transfer. On the day of the transfer, I did both pre- and post-transfer sessions with him, and I continued seeing him weekly through week 13 of my pregnancy. From our very first consultation, I knew he cared—he took the time to ask thoughtful questions and create a plan that was tailored specifically for my body and my journey. What sets Mike apart is that he’s not just performing a service—he’s walking with you through the experience. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, but more importantly, he’s compassionate, attentive, and always present. He’s the kind of practitioner who texts you back, checks in, and makes sure you feel supported the entire time. Before Mike, I had tried acupuncture at another place, and honestly, it felt clinical and detached. With Mike, it was the opposite. I felt seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. He becomes your cheerleader, your guide, and someone you can trust in a process where trust is everything. I truly enjoyed every session with him, and when the time comes for my second transfer in a couple of years, I won’t even consider going to anyone else. Don’t waste your time searching—Mike is your person.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! My wife and I found Dr. Mike to be extremely helpful throughout our fertility journey. I believe his expertise was a key part in helping my wife achieve her first pregnancy. If you are looking for an acupuncture doctor in the NYC area, this is your guy!

Mike has been an incredible part of my IVF journey. From the start, he made me feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for. Whilst initially daunted by the thought of needles, he eased my anxiety and made the process seamless. And even better I am now 18 weeks pregnant and well on my way to having my first child. I’m so grateful to have found him.

Mike B is such an amazing human and acupuncturist of course. He is an insanely optimistic person, which we all need. He puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable even if this is your first time having acupuncture or you’re a seasoned patient.

Mike is one of the most wonderful people I have met. I got to him because someone else couldn't use their remaining acupuncture sessions with him and so I bought them off of her. I definitely bought more after that! His care and empathy when working with you will be evident. Not only did I get acupuncture therapy, seeing Mike was good talk therapy too!! I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone going through ART.
