The Bristal Assisted Living At York Avenue's Online Review Report Card

Bristal is an amazing place. Our father has been at 2 other senior assisted living centers and this one is by far the best. The place is beautifully appointed, the rooms and facilities are specifically designed for the residents to access everything easily. There is dedicated support staff on each floor. Dining options on many floors and food is pretty delicious for a senior assisted living home and we can easily just join in for a meal at the cafe or on dad’s floor. They know what he loves to eat and what he needs. They have plenty of activities and trips to attend that he’s done more while he’s been here than most of his dedicated work/life. But what makes this senior assisted living place special is the great staff, their personal attention and friendship with each resident and their genuine care for what my dad personally needs. He’s happy, well kept and has fewer incidents. We do have to communicate with them on what he needs and how he needs it but the Bristal team steps up, is attentive and they follows through. My dad is in great condition and happy now. We saw a picture of him on the day he moved in to Bristal a year ago. Today dad looks happier, healthier and he actually looks more vibrant and even younger. We attribute a good deal of this to the amazing team and the great care he gets here. 😊

I had the pleasure of interacting with two employees, Jenny and Melanie, who went above and beyond to make my experience at The Bristal even better. They had a great rapport with the residents and were so patient and kind with them. I could see that they genuinely care about their well-being and go the extra mile to make them comfortable. The Bristal is by far the best luxury senior living development in NYC! The staff are professional, welcoming, friendly, and exceptionally good at what they do. Special shoutouts go out to Derrick and Ryan who made the experience for my family second to none.
