This agency doesn’t pay their foster parents on time. We are supposed to get monies on the 15th of every month. Today is the 16th and no money insight. We now have to wait until Monday the 18th. It is disturbing. It is not just me. I have spoken a few f parents and they are going through the same issues. This weekend is consider a holiday weekend. This is not the first time this has happen. Don’t blame my bank. It is NY Foundling.

My adopted sister and I were both placed in an abusive home where we were verbally and physically abused by our mother. We were repeatedly threatened with “being returned.” I’m sure youve helped many families but you failed us. My sister was born addicted to heroin, taken from her birth mother and given to my family with no support for the challenges that presented. She suffered with mental illness which was exacerbated by my adopted parents’ denial of any need for treatment. They said she needed to pray harder for Gods forgiveness because she was the one at fault. She took her life in 2016. You literally dumped us with a mentally I’ll mother with little to no follow up or oversight. I have nothing but hate and disdain for you as an organization.

I had a very good upbringing with my foster mother mrs mary jane murphy and the srs of charity srs, which sr francis dwyer sc and sr Teresa Kelly sc now deceased may they r I p, had me in their orphanage up till 2 years old, I had a excellent upbringing with mrs murphy and the srs at the n y foundling hospital back then on Lexington ave and e 68 st and 1175 3rd ave nyc now trump plaza, I remember all the outings with the srs and foster parents we had up the country back then, I wish the srs well with their agency along with social workers as well helen m murphy nyc
