List of The Physiolab Nyc's Reviews
The Physio Lab "The Lab" is the best. I've been doing strength training and PT there for 1+ years. Strength training provides challenging (and fun) programs/training cycles with knowledgeable, hands-on coaches, as well as a wonderful community. All the coaches are PTs so you know you're in good hands - the focus on form is second to none. All levels.
The PhysioLab has helped me recover from my ACL surgery. I am confident I’ll be even stronger than before with Tessia’s guidance. Great facilities! Recommend!
Incredibly warm, caring and competent PT and challenging but supportive small group training. Full force recommendation
The PhysioLab is an AMAZING place! My 1:1 PT sessions started with rehabbing an injury and have changed into getting so much stronger while learning proper form. 100% changed my life!
The Lab is an exceptional facility for all things fitness and physical therapy. Chloe has such a practical and targeted approach to PT, and the rest of the training staff (Tessia, Madison, Iris, Albert) are all top notch. Could not recommend this place more!
I came to the PhysioLab on the recommendation of a strength training coach, and it has been a transformative experience. I had shoulder and back injuries from barbell movements, and I was legitimately scared I would never be able to lift heavy weights again. Fast forward, and I am the strongest I have *ever* been (I even competed in my first powerlifting meet recently!). The physical therapists at the Lab -- I have been lucky enough to work with all 3 of them -- absolutely prioritize getting you back to the activities you love. Not only did Chloe and Tessia provide manual therapy and targeted exercises to relieve my pain, as barbell athletes (and certified coaches themselves!) they were able to provide feedback on my lifting technique to resolve the underlying issues contributing to my pain. A typical session might look like bodywork, a few rehab or prehab exercises, and heavy squats. How many PT practices get you under a barbell?! I actually looked forward to our sessions, and I really feel like they have equipped me with the tools to take control of my physical health. I also separately had worked with Iris, the pelvic floor therapist, at her previous job and received excellent care. I had issues with urinary leakage during jumping/HIIT/running and heavy deadlifts, and my sports medicine doctor thought my back pain might be related to pelvic floor issues. Iris shares Chloe's and Tessia's philosophy of empowering their patients to manage their own health, and she taught me how to breathe and brace properly, how and when to relax and/or strengthen my pelvic floor, and how to perform manual therapy on myself. I was very excited when Iris joined the PhysioLab! What I really appreciate about all of the PhysioLab therapists is that they *want* you to graduate from physical therapy. Thanks to this team, I can lift heavy weight with confidence, pain- and pee-free!
I have been working with Tessia to over come a back and lower body injury. She has been super helpful and most importantly understands barbell movements. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get over pain and get back to lifting.
The Physio Lab team is absolutely amazing, and the single best thing that I've done for my ACL recovery. I've been seeing Tessia and Chloe since August of 2023, for prehab, and then rehab for an ACL, MCL and meniscus. They are incredibly kind, well versed and motivating! Can't imagine where I would be without them!
Tessia is a wonderful physical therapist; She’s kind, patient, and funny. During each session, she explains why you’re doing certain exercises and how it helps on your recovery. And of course, my sprained ankle is much better!!
Chloe and the team at the Lab are excellent! Their approach to PT and strength training is best in class- the team is extremely focused and diligent and always ontop of the latest treatment and training methods. They truly do everything they can to solve for pain and show you how to prevent future injury, always with a focus on longterm function. Truly all star practice, highly reccommend!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
