I signed up with Dr Claire Cheng because my research online marketed her as an expert in Asian skin. I tried very hard to steer the consultative discussion towards this several times, and ultimately she had no advice specific to Asian skin, only saying that just because I’m Asian it doesn’t mean anything and everyone has a different skin type. She did not “assess” my skin type aside from looking at it and I ended up paying $400 for absolutely nothing, I walked away with no better understanding of what products would work best for me. Don’t waste your time if you are looking for practical advice from someone who genuinely wants to help. Instead, she spent the bulk of the time explaining different laser and medspa treatments, clearly trying to steer the conversation towards upselling. She had a resident assistant by her side learning her sales pitch - really sad to witness someone being trained in the dark arts. If you do ignore my warnings and see her be warned you’ll hear phrases like “I like this for you” and other sales-y phrases. She was very professional and clearly effective at sales. Probably my fault for being so naive.

This was a first visit for a full-body scan, and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly, the office was beautiful, modern, with large exam rooms and a nicely stocked snack bar in the waiting room. The doctor was very personable and knowledgeable. Overall, I would highly recommend UnionDerm.

Dr. Chopra is amazing! He takes the time to learn your story and tailors his approach based off of what is best for you. He gives clear explanations of everything. Absolutely loved my experience here.

Beautiful office, professional, very clean and spacious. Pleasant front desk staff, pleasantly kind and caring physicians and assistants. All physicians are highly trained, experienced and knowledgeable. Dr. Humphrey and MA Abby were excellent and made me feel very comfortable.

Dr. Chapas has been my dermatologist for decades, and she is one of the kindest, best doctors I know ! I trust her completely, and she is extremely professional!

HONEST review about my experience with Dr. Chopra: I’ve struggled with dull, textured skin, and rosacea for most of my life. As a South Asian woman, I always felt there were very few derms who truly understood how to treat my skin safely😭 I’ve traveled to see all the “global experts” but NONE of them compared to Dr. Chopra. From the beginning, he took the time to understand not only my skin, but also the history and emotional weight of carrying years of failed treatments😖 He then built a treatment plan that was innovative, personalized, and ACTUALLY felt designed just for me!! His approach combined all these advanced modalities (half of which most derms don’t even offer) that targeted every single one of my concerns👏🏼 Seriously.. he’s next level detailed. Every step of the way, he checked in, explained what he was doing, and made me feel like a partner in the process rather than just another patient🙏🏽 That alone is enough to make me go back, BUT let’s talk results… LIFE. CHANGING. In just 6 months, we were able to undo nearly two decades of scarring, redness, and texture issues.. I could cry🥲🥲 My skin is finally clear, smooth, and healthy in a way I never thought possible!! Dr. Chopra gave me back my confidence and I am soo so grateful🥹 He is a trailblazer, a healer, and a doctor who truly cares.. for real, I cannot recommend him enough!!!🤍

From the front desk, to the assistant to the doctor I could not be more pleased. I have seen three different doctors here from a body check to Botox, filler, and lazar and I am always thrilled.

An unprofessional practice through and through. Front desk did not understand booking medical vs cosmetic consultation appointment and the medical assistant was dismissive and rude to me about the mistake made by the front desk staff. I was also taken aback that they even had to ask the question of whether they would be charging me for the appointment that we of course did not move forward with due to inaccurate booking. Mistakes happen of course but the lack of conciliatory ownership and additional suggestion that I could be financially responsible for their mistake was distasteful and is the reason why I would publicly encourage others to go to any other dermatology clinic in the city instead. Front desk was nice, but ultimately incompetent. Medical assistant was just not nice. I have been to other dermatologists in the city and believe that other practices can offer more professional experiences
