I have been going to this office for several years for my full body examinations. My Doctor is DR JACK COSSMAN he is an EXCELLÈNT doctor. RICH HAMMOND
Professional and smooth process, from the front desk to the medical staff. I’ve had only positive experiences here. Dr Rothman is great.
I’m very happy with everyone there for the past 4 years 👍
Although polite, the staff is inexperienced, Dr James Shea caused scarring and made the condition significantly worse.
Dr. Travis and her team at Upper West Side Dermatology are a crack group of medical professionals who help you with medical answers and compassion just when you've given up. They are terrific professionals you feel at home with. Thank you, Dr. Travis and team!!

I had a horrible experience with the front desk. I was told Cossman was out of network for my insurance, which I know is wrong. She insisted he was out of network. Half an hour later I get a call that in fact he is in network. Just overall very frustrating and there are certainly better run derm offices on the UWS to utilize.
The people at the front desk and in the little office near it treated me like an animal over minor beaurocratic issues related to my economic class. One of the worst experiences I can ever recall experiencing from medical staff anywhere or anytime. I would not recommend this establishment to an enemy.
I really really appreciate dr Jones and his staff they did a real amazing work before and after the surgery. I highly recommend for a good care. Special thanks to Lax and Gizelle and the nurses they have done all they could to provide great care.
I’ve already posted a review praising Dr Sarah Yagerman for her professional excellence and natural empathy. I’d also like to praise the practice’s office staff and medical assistants for their abiding efficiency and helpfulness. The patient starts being cared for immediately upon entering the office. He's comforted by the atmosphere of calm and order, and by the friendly welcome from a member of the office staff. He then takes a seat to wait for his doctor’s medical assistant to summon him. Unlike at any other doctor’s office he's visited, it’s quite pleasant to wait here. The office staff and the other patients are unusually animated and personable. The patient’s next interaction is with his doctor’s medical assistant, who is reassuringly conversant with his medical history, earnestly concerned about his welfare, and able to temper procedure with sensitivity and friendless. The patient has been well prepared for the climax of the visit, his doctor’s attentive examination and precise evaluation. This, as I say in my earlier post, Dr Yagerman accomplishes with humor and grace. I have called her the ideal physician. The practice is also ideal. Before coming to Upper West Side Dermatology, I never thought I would enjoy a visit to the doctor’s office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
