The office is very clean. The staff is nice and helpful. Dr. Oram is nice in her own way. As a new patient she asked for my medical history and did bloodwork and gave me refills until she gets the results and she will decide what to do next to get my A1C under better control. So far she has explained and prescribe medication as needed. This is my third appt and I will keep going to her. You just have to get to know her and how she works. She is a good Doctor. She keeps her appointment on time and fast. No waiting.

Dr. Oram is always attentive to my concerns! She explains any changes that need to be made and we have a discussion rather than being gaslit by most doctors.

Absolutely horrible experience with this doctor. She is unfriendly, not comforting and actually laughed when I asked to have a comprehensive conversation about something. She said “ha, I don’t have time for that”. I was a new patient so I didn’t expect it to be so rushed so after about 10 minutes of asking questions, she actually opened the door and left it open as I continued to explain my anxiety about what she was prescribing / sharing with me. I’ve never left a bad review about a doctor but Dr Oram was so exceptionally horrible and off putting I felt that others should know to find other care.

Find another doctor Avoid Dr. Oram at all costs. She has zero empathy and is extremely difficult to work with. Her bedside manner is cold, unresponsive, and uncooperative—and she always seems irritated by even the most basic questions. Every appointment she has made me feel like an inconvenience and has showed no interest in explaining my care. I always leave her office feeling dismissed and unheard.

Terrible doctor. Only prescribes the same tests that are not the most sensitive to diagnose conditions. Does not care about patients. Offers metformin at first instance which is terrible. Says that A1c is better than glucose tolerance test. That is why she always has available appointments because she is a terrible doctor.

The doctor seems competent, but I am extremely frustrated with the font desk staff. I had to do a 24 hour urine collection (already awkward and embarassing) and have blood drawn at the time of drop off. I was never informed that I needed to do the drop off at Labcorp, and was told just to come back on the day I was dropping off the urine to do the blood work. Once I got to the office, I was told I can’t do that here, and the person at the front desk rolled her eyes, never said sorry, and was reluctant to help give me any further information about lab Corp hours or locations. Extremely rude and unhelpful.

Dr. Oram is lovely human being and a highly skilled endocrinologist. I was diagnosed with Type 1 about 5 years ago. Thanks to her I became well informed about how to manage my diabetes. My diabetes is under control, and I am healthy thanks to her.
