List of Valerie Peck's Reviews
Excellent physician, listens and hears.
Truly one of the worst doctors I have seen. She kept me waiting for over an hour for an in person appointment. Did not have the correct notes from our prior video visit. Did not do a full exam. Was rude, condescending and did not listen to my health concerns. She did not refill my medication even though i have been on Synthroid for over 35 years because I have hypothyroidism and hashinotos. She had the audacity to deny my refill and send me home with a soon to be expired sample box of the wrong dose of synthroid. Additionally she ordered the incorrect blood work labs. She is awful . If there was the ability to give her a negative amount of stars she would deserve it
Dr. Peck is an uncaring dismissive unorganized doctor who I would not trust her with my healthcare. She took down the wrong information from our initial visit and had insisted that she was correct. She would not give me refills even though I suffer from severe hashimotos thyroid disease and handed me a soon to be expired sample box of synthroid with the incorrect dose. She is way to busy to manage my care and probably way to busy to manage the care of her patients. She asked me to arrive 15 minutes prior to my apppointment and kept me waiting for over an hour. She did not even do a full exam. She had the wrong notes from our prior visit which had me on a lower dose of thyroid medication than I said I was on during our last visit. She told me to reduce my dosage even though I feel physically fine, was in denial that the Covid Vaccine and having covid temporarily negatively affected my heart and was extremely dismissive of my feelings and well being. She is an unorganized doctor.
Very disappointed. Saw her 3-4 times and finally gave up. Disorganized, unfocussed, got no where. I went to another doctor who met with me once, ordered tests and then gave me very specific guidance and recommendations including surgery which I had.
Keeps people waiting. Forgets to call in prescriptions. Doesn't mention that a routine test I need must be done in the morning before I've eaten, so I make an appt. for the afternoon and don't find out until after I show up for test. Yup, time to find a new dr.
If you have to wait in her office, it is because the doctor is doing her job better than any other doctor in NYC. I've seen her for three decades and the wait is always worth it. She is concerned with total health and never fails to make the correct enquiries. YOU CANNOT DO BETTER THAN DR. VALERIE PECK.
Excelente, very attentive, knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. I am extremely satisfied with the care I always receive from her.
I have been seeing Dr. Peck for 21 years, She is an excellent doctor. She doesn't rush you and explains everything thoroughly. She is very knowledgeable. Yes, the wait is long but it is worth it.
Dr. Peck is simply the best endocrinologist I've ever consulted with -- and well worth waiting for. I've seen her for more than 20 years, I have absolute faith in her judgments and in her advice, and she has helped maintain my health through many difficult situations. You cannot, quite simply, do better than Dr. Peck.
She couldn't see me because she had to go home. Meanwhile l had to go through a raging storm in order to get to her office I was there for her She wasn't.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
