List of Vicki J. Levine's Reviews
I HAVE USED MS. VICKI FOR OVER 10 TEARS... SHE CORRECTED other Dr.s incorrect mess. She is a miracle
I was treated for a rash recently by Dr. Levine. What a pleasant surprise to find a physician who wasn’t rushed, willing to spend the time needed to understand the potential causes of the rash, very accessible for follow up – in fact called me several times to ensure that I was getting better. And all with good cheer and a wonderful sense of humor. They don’t make many physicians like Dr. Levine anymore – take advantage while you can.
I saw Dr. Levine for a rash. She was extremely thorough and spent the time needed to try to understand the potential causes of the rash. She also has been very accessible for follow up and even called me several times to ensure that I'm getting better. In addition, she is a lovely person, very easy to talk to with a great sense of humor. One of the best doctors I've seen in many years.
I did not get to see Dr. Levine. This review is about my experience with the admin. I scheduled a same day video appointment for 1:15PM. Dr. Levine's office called me in the morning to requested more information and confirmed appointment time. At 12:55PM, her office said Dr. Levine would call me shortly. I waited for over an hour (she replied the other review saying because she examines all my patients very thoroughly so I thought maybe I should be more patient) At 2:23PM I emailed the office and asked when and how Dr. Levine would contact me because I have waited over an hour. No response to this email so at 2:43PM I sent the office another email requesting them to cancel my appointment. Oh guess what? I was told Dr. Levine was actually done for the day. HOW IS SHE DONE FOR THE DAY IF SHE DIDN'T SEE HER PATIENT ON SCHEDULE? THE APPOINTMENT WAS CONFIRMED THE SAME DAY IN THE MORNING. Later the office emailed me again and asked if I would wait til 3:45PM. But she told me the doctor was done for the day???? This is beyond ridiculous!
The wait was long but worth it she checks everything and tells you in layman’s terms what it means. She Advised me against doing what she considered an unnecessary procedure to have my moles removed which is quite respectable since it seems most doctors make up things to treat you for that you don’t need. Would reccommend.
The doctor was "no show". I scheduled a same day video appointment for 1:15PM. Dr. Levine's office called me in the morning to requested more information and confirmed appointment time. At 12:55PM, her office said Dr. Levine would call me shortly. At 2:23PM I emailed the office and asked when and how Dr. Levine would contact me because I have waited over an hour. No response to this email so at 2:43PM I sent the office another email requesting them to cancel my appointment. And this was the response I got "Hi, Sorry Dr.Levine is actually done for today would you like to reschedule for tomorrow ?" "Or would you like to wait til 3:45 today?" But she told me the doctor was done for the day???? This is beyond ridiculous! I said no I don't want to reschedule. However, I received a voice message from Dr. Levine at 5:43PM saying she just saw me on her schedule for 3:45PM appointment. First of all, I did not reschedule for 3:45PM, my appointment was at 1:15PM. The office moved my appointment time without my consent. Secondly, if I waited til 3:45PM, the doctor would not see me on time either. Because she found me on her schedule when she called me which was at 5:43PM. This is beyond ridiculous!!!!
My friend recommended that I see Dr Vicki Levine when I was concerned about a mole on my back. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Her nurse, Colleen could not have been nicer when she showed me to the exam room. She knew from my paperwork why I was there and told me Dr Levine would be doing a full body exam. I was happy to be given a cloth gown, rather than a paper one. Dr. Levine came into the exam room and introduced herself. The body exam was very thorough, and she addressed the mole on my back first. She spoke to me in a way I could understand, and wrote down any terminology she thought I would not remember. After giving me sunscreen samples, she asked if there was anything else that I wanted to ask. I will certainly see her again if I have a problem. I feel as if she is always in my corner.
Dr. Levine is great. She is thorough and never remotely rude or arrogant. The staff, particularly Colleen, are attentive and friendly. I have never had more than a few minutes wait time -- though I would not mind a few minutes to myself in very comfortable seating.
Lovely, highly competent. Specializes in Moh's surgery, has published on the topic. Very friendly and attentive, explains things well and answers questions. Spends extra time with patients when needed, so there can be rather a wait. Worth it. Very down to earth, never impatient or condescending. A darling.
The perfect combination of smart and thoughtful! Dr. Levine is always current with cutting-edge research in this fast-changing field and yet treats people, not just skin, taking time to answer questions and explain procedures. She trained an entire generation of fellows in dermatology at NYU, and they are incredibly lucky to have studied with her. A doctor's doctor -- exactly the one you want treating you, whether for a life-threatening issue or an elective procedure.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
