I was recently treated by Dr. Patel and Dr. Takayama for aortic aneurism. As a Columbia Professor myself I very am proud to see that our institution has these two outstanding doctors and human beings in its Surgical team.

Dr. Patel and his team are amazing. He will not stop until he does everything he can to get the best outcome possible. He is tirelessly treating my husband's vascular issues and never once took a short cut. He is so dedicated. I am so happy we have him on our care team!!!

I was sent by another surgeon to Dr Patel as my aortic dissection was a difficult situation. I came through the operation (14 hours) I have not had any of the problems that can occur because of this operation this operation. I believe he is a world class doctor.
