At 19 hrs old, I was referred to Dr.V. Bykerk by my family physician who happened to be her father Dr. Hendrick Bykerk. Dr. Vivianne is patient, thorough and absolutely cutting edge when is comes to science and research for R. A. She quickly got me included into the Mount Sinai Early Arthritis program and due to early treatment - the past 10 years have showed slow disease progression. Dr. Bykerk is a superb rheumatologist practicing at the one of the premier hospitals in the US specializing in orthopedics and rheumatology. She has cared for my very elderly mother's arthritis for years now. It's difficult to get an appointment with her if you're a new patient.

Dr. Bykerk was extremely friendly and helpful. Appointment lasted significantly longer than I had anticipated, with her discussing various different methods of treatment. Will go back to this doctor in a heart beat.
