I had a televisite with Dr. Silver. Before the visit, I had sent over an extensive amount of information and lab results. Dr. Silver comes on the screen and was clueless about why I had scheduled a visit for my son. I asked if she looked at any of the labs or the EEG's for my son so that she would be prepared for the visit and she said she did not. Dr. Silver then fumbled around her screen to find the results and said she could hardly see them. So I needed to spend the next 30 minutes reading all of the irregularities in the blood work to her. Then she spent about one minute looking at my son on the screen and summed it up that he should be fine. What a joke and a complete waste of time and money. Nice enough person but as far as being prepared for a visit and offering new insight and knowledge...forget about it. I expected much more from a doctor working in a prestigious hospital in N.Y.C.

Dr. Silver was recommended to us by our pediatrician (actually she was one name on a list of 12-15 pediatric neurologists). Even though we live in NJ, we ended up with Dr. Silver (NYC) because she was able to get us an appointment sooner rather than later and also because she takes our insurance. There are several locations so you can choose whichever suits you best. Dr. Silver was warm and engaging, asked many questions, and you could tell she was really listening to us. We never felt rushed and I also absolutely love how she addressed dietary factors that might be contributing to my son's migraines rather than just whipping out a prescription pad. I would recommend Dr. Silver to anyone in need of a pediatric neurologist!

We saw her in November and she is AMAZING A+++ I heard that she left the practice she was working out and hopefully soon we will find out where she went....

Dr. Silver has left this practice as of Dec. 3, 2016. They will not give any information regarding where she went. If anyone knows please contact me at 240-538-2220. She is my daughters' neurologist and we adore her. My name is Suzanne. Thank you.

Dr. Silver is very personable and took the time to get to know my children and to answer all questions without rushing us out the door. She is also careful in her decision-making when it comes to medications and procedures, weighing benefits vs risks when deciding on the best treatment plan.
