List of William Grace's Reviews
I love NYC&B, I’ve been with them for three years now. It’s like Cheers, where everybody knows your name. Dr. Grace saved my life and is willing to go outside the box, when so few practitioners are. As a Stage IV patient under his care, I’ve lived 75% longer than the longest prognosis I could find. He has never given me a “survival time”, and continues to talk about the possibility of remission, when most doctors remind me I have a terminal condition with no cure. I’m forever grateful I found him and his team.
I Had a very bad experience with this Doctor Grace the two months i was under his care he had not a clue of my health and blood levels he didn’t help me with my blood levels whats so ever but yet let me go home with a 7.2 level and also had me waiting in a limbo for two months for a medicine that was prescribed from him that was very important few day later I had all my hospital records transferred over to a place where they treated me with all the care in the world… I will never ever go back to this doctor again or where he works at 86st locations all he does is look at you n start typing in his lab top with out having a clue about your health……
Dr. Grace is a brilliant , caring, doctor who took on my stage 4A metastatic cancer with courage and offering a cure! After meeting Dr. Grace, I knew that I was in good hands. I am eternally grateful for what Dr. Grace and his team did for me! My previous experience with the “so called experts” left me without hope. They told me to get my affairs in order. They offered no cure and planned to do radical surgery (to remove my right lung) just to try to give me some more time. Well after Dr. Grace’s treatment, I’m in total remission and I am living my life with both of my lungs still in tact. Mary D. From Connecticut
Can’t see how issues like food insecurity, housing, etc relate to COVID-19. Would not be confident in him as a hematologist.
Brilliant.
Complete and utter shill.
Dr. William R. Grace cured me of NSCLC (lung cancer). I originally saw him in the Fall of 2009. Today is August 19, 2020. I own him my life!!!🧡🙏🏽🌻🇺🇸💪🏾Merci beaucoup!!! I may get to Paris yet!!! Thank God for Dr. Grace.🙏🏽
I brought my mother into the office due to pap results that were concerning as a referral was made to be seen by an oncologist. Both my mother and were a nervous wreck and wanted to see someone quickly due to her regular doctor being backed up. Upon his entrance into the room he was friendly and it was noticeably cracked jokes. I believe it was to ease the tension. However there were concens in regards to his professionalism. 1st of all he continue to make reference towards my mother's weight which would be understandable if you are providing ways in which you can change your diet but he referred to her as Fat on a numerous occasions and bragged about how he is the same weight his was at 18 years of age which Im sure not much of us are. 2nd , while we were in the room he answered a phone call with I presumed to be another doctor, had him on speaker and discussed another patients mass found on he lungs and what the next steps should be. The conversation last about 5 minutes which is 5 minutes of my mother's billing time. The call did not seem life or death enough that he had to interrupt by mothers time as opposed to taking the call after his session with my mom. Thirdly he called another oncologist receptionist to refer my mother for a biospy. When the receptionist answered the phone , his response was ,"tell Dr (Pothuri) I'm sending her some money". That was extremely unprofessional to refer to patients as money, AND RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM!. We are not money, we are human beings with medical issues, not a check that they can bounce off of each other. I was truly insulted by that term as it dehumanized my mother and took away the sense of compassion towards the sensitivity of the matter. The worst thing about it is that I"m sure that he is oblivious to his inappropriate bed side manner.
Dr. Grace is an amazing oncologist! He help my wife survive 7 years when her original diagnosis was only 6-9 months with stage IV intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. Through his care, his ability to come up with solutions, I am convinced she lived as long as she did. He is an expert not in any particular cancer, but in cancer itself because every single person's cancer is unique to his or her self. He uses Weisenthal Cancer, out in California, to conduct cytometric profiling to help identify what drugs work against your particular cancer. It is very personalized medicine, and it works to extend lives and in some case cure cancers, where it was not thought possible. He has also helped my Dad through two bouts of Prostate Cancer and melanoma over the course of the last 12 years. Wonderful doctor, kind man.
I have had elevated D-dimers and no one could explain what was happening to me. I have been to many doctors, other hematologists and they did not even discuss my diet and other factors that could be contributing to what was happening to me. The fact that Dr. Grace discusses these healthy options means he understands that starting at the simplest aspect first is the best way to treat human beings. He is not trying to make me a patient for life and for that, I would recommend everyone I know to see him. He does care and that is rare in medicine.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
