Great doctor. Very thorough.
I wish I looked at the Y elp ratings before I came here. One-Third of the ratings are the l owest and now I know why. Left a big and permanent m ess on my face and did not care. Leaving my comments for Dr. Long as he is head of this practice.
Dr. Long and his staff are great.
Dr Long is the Michael Jordan of Dermatology!
I don’t have enough word to thank Doctor long William , what amazing doctor. The best doctor I have ever had in my life . I visited him for the first time Monday October 1st for my allergy. He did my biopsy. Sunday he called me to tell me the good news which is unusual for a Doctor to call a patient on weekend to discuss with his patient the results of the phone I was amazed . 5 stars are not enough for him I definitely highly recommended doctor long William and give him a zillion stars. Thank you Doctor, you are not only amazing doctor also amazing person
Did not have a great experience at Manhattan Dermatology. Went for an earlobe repair surgery, and on the day I arrived for the consultation there was a discrepancy in the price that I was given over the phone versus what I was told in person. The staff at the front desk seemed to have no idea what was going on. Once Dr. Long arrived for the consult, he was super awkward and in my opinion he had less than sub par bedside manor. I will say that he did a good job with the actual procedure. But when I arrived to have my ear repierced I encountered another episode of a poor expierence at this practice when the doctors assistant asked for the earring I would like them to use. No one informed me that I was to bring an earring. Dr Long came in and told me "we assume people know to bring their own earring". He then said "I just want to confirm the piercing was not included in the price of the repair". I told him that the front desk told me it was included. Long story short the front desk has not a clue what is going on and neither does Dr. long. I was unhappy with my treatment, especially since this procedure was paid for out of pocket since insurance does not cover it.
Dr. Long is an extremely skilled & caring doc. His office staff is courteous, punctual & efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Long for any & all dermatological problems!
Dr. Long has been our family's dermatologist since he got out of med school. I trust him with any skin related issue any of us have had. Over the years he has removed a multiple of skin lesions, bad moles, etc. without ever leaving a scar! I refer him to all my friends. He is considerate, thoughtful, deliberate in all medical decisions and extremely skilled. I highly recommend him.
I 've been a patient of Dr Long for over 25 years. He is very kind and very professional.
Horrible experience after going here twice with same dr. The office was disorganized in the front (asking me to fill out paperwork, when i had online already). The should be called 'crooks r us' for the amount they charge for a ROUTINE skin exam. The dr. should be advising that their 'recommended' procedures could be costing an EXTENSIVE amount AFTER they get their claim process with the insurance company. Never ever will I go here again. $500 later to check if I have skin cancer, how nice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
