Although Dr Weiss is very thorough he has no concern for his patients time. I have been to his office three times in the past month for an annual follow up and each time the wait has been 2-3 hours and I had to leave. The third time they gave me the first appointment and I still waited over 2 hours. Time to get a new doctor who values my time.

Saw me on short notice when I needed clearance for a procedure. He was very thorough and in now way projected the separation between doctor and patient so many specialists project. He was very thoughtful and explained my condition, its probable roots, and treatment options in the near and longer term clearly and took all the time necessary to do it. His staff was a delight.

He listens. He asks questions. He thinks. He takes his time. I feel very lucky to call Dr. Weiss my doctor. Thank you for being good at your job.

I have been going to Dr. Weiss for over ten years for hypertension management. He is by far the best doctor I have ever encountered. He listens, he adapts his approach - he is capable of thinking outside of the box. I am confident in the advice he gives and highly recommend him.

I scheduled my first and last appointment with Dr Weiss for a routine pre- surgical appointment because my great nurse practitioner of 12 years moved and left the practice. I waited 2 hours to be taken. Besides needing the checkup I needed a precertification for an mri because an X-ray showed a bone spur and the physical therapist said I should get one because I was not progressing and the spur could cause further damage to my rotator cuff. I told this to Weiss and he had a copy of my xray in my chart. I called about 4 days later and the receptionist said he was looking into it but gave me no timelines. When I called again she said he had to see me again to look at my shoulder. Because I needed the mri I made another appointment. I called Oxford which said this was unnecessary because he had the X-ray. So when I called the day of the appointment I pointed this out and the receptionist said they made a mistake and I wouldn’t have to come in. That was Monday. She said he would take care of it on Thursday. I called Oxford on Thursday afternoon and no record of precertification. I called the office on Friday morning and the receptionist insisted she had sent in the precertification the day before and would call me back at 1 pm that afternoon. She didn’t call so I called at 2 and she had left the office. I called Oxford and she had sent in the precertification shortly after I spoke to her that morning. They delayed the mri for a few weeks and the shoulder is worse. The office staff is inefficient and the dr kept me waiting a ridiculous amount of time. I have changed my pcp. Most of the time if you call this office you will be put on hold for 4 minutes or get a recording they are out of office for lunch or starting at 4.
