Yevgeny Azrieli's Online Review Report Card

I'm going to bump up my review as clearly my first impression was not ideal, but I have to admit he's probably the most thorough and intelligent doctor I've ever met. He absolutely details everything that you can view in the portal they use. He doesn't skip a beat and has gone above and beyond testing things no other doctor I've met has. Sure he's candid and can rub u the wrong way, but it's just who he is. As for 3 month waiting times he surely has the power to fit you in if he feels necessary. His senior Assistant is absolutely wonderful. I change my opinion and highly recommend. Just don't expect him to be a chatty Dr. He's straight to the point and literally reviews everything before he sees you so you don't have to remind him 100 times about things you already mentioned! I'm glad this finally working out!

Extremely distressing. Dr. Azrieli was condescending, did not listen to me and insulted me. I presented with vertigo and headaches and I have many drug allergies. He did not do so much as a basic neurological test. He later called my husband (not me) to apologise. He also phoned my son. He never phoned me. My vertigo is so bad that I need to be accompanied. It is very difficult to walk. Going to see him meant time, money and a lot of effort and coordination. He is incompetent aside from being rude and dismissive.

I visited this doctor with a wide range of serious concerns. He was dismissive and arrogant. He diagnosed my issues as prostatitis. I knew this condition didn’t begin to explain my severe symptoms. I was recently diagnosed with Behcets Disease by better doctors. Do not risk your health by visiting this doctor.

Location is super clean and modern. No wait time for me. However I don't know if it's the era I grew up in, but doctors have no bedside manners anymore. 3 month wait for initial visit and another 3 months for follow up. What? Didn't feel like he was concerned with my issues and only wanted to focus on neurological as I tried to explain other issues were working in tandem with one another. I chose this doctor based on fam recommendations but I don't think his expertise is in neurological autoimmune disorders. Didn't appreciate he possibly mumbled he was the doctor and I was confused if he was the nurse or doctor. When I politely inquired he muttered he already told me he was the doctor when walking me to the room. I also explained I couldn't detail one of my parents side of med history bc my grandmother disappeared. He cracked a joke that what was she here then poof disappeared? Whelp yep she abandoned her fam and left her children to foster care. Not funny to me whatsoever. My intuition is telling me I wasted all this time to meet with someone Who was only trying to confirm a diagnosis I already had. But I know this diagnosis is wrong bc doctors dont seem to care anymore. Still will give him a chance as I always learn more speaking to various doctors but I don't think we are the right fit. 3 months for tests and follow ups is also absurd unless routine visits. My life matters tand doctors tend to listen to what they want to instead of the whole pic. I even inquired what happens next if he can't figure it out and he shrugged his shoulders. I already was driven out of state to see him and didn't expect a typical oh well. Already looking for another neurologist.

If you didn’t know, your notes are now public records and you can see everything this doctor write about you. His note that he wrote through zocdoc about me is still affecting me one year later with other doctors. I let him know I was having a medical emergency and could not see a doctor as it was in the beginning of the covid crisis. I let him know my medication history and that I cannot take medications for that reason, however I wanted a doctors advice since I could not go in person to see a doctor as hospitals were full. He did not listen to anything I said and instead wrote in his note that I had somehow asked for contorlled substances. I have never asked a doctor for a controlled substance so this came as a complete surprise to me as I was reviewing my records. I’m a mental health professional and that sort of negligence with note writing is unethical.

He was very judgemental and ableist, careless with the information he outs in his notes and how it will affect his patients in the future. He lied about our appointment on his notes.

Excellent first consultation. He was actually in the room before I arrived reading my medical history (how often does that happen?) He thoroughly explained his assessment to me, and he treated me like an intelligent adult. I have an intractable problem, I don't know if he will be able to help me, but after being shuffled around by many doctors who never sat down and explained my condition to me, I suddenly felt a little more empowered. All doctors should be this professional.

His approach to diagnosing his patient's conditions is impeccable! He takes his time and explains in depth his findings and recommendations.

After seeing numerous doctors for over 3 years Dr Azrieli had a diagnosis the first time we met with him! The first Remarkable set of test results and a treatment plan that has worked like magic!

Dr Azrieli is thorough and took time out to learn my history and symptoms. He was compassionate as well. He followed up to get me to the right specialist.
