List of Yoshifumi Naka's Reviews
It was my first visit to Dr. Naka and his knowledge of the heart and the function was impressive. He took the time to answer all of my questions, which was not much because he covered everything in the discussion. Dr. Naka was patient and empathetic of my health situation. He also was very thorough when discussing my options pros and cons. I was impressed with Dr. Naka overall.
he saved my life ! thats all i know
Dr.Naka did a Double bypass surgery on me 5yrs ago..The surgery was very successful and I'm happy with the results and thiving..
Columbia Presbyterian’s top doctor for heart surgery and heart replacement my bypassSurgery was 10 years ago and I’m still ticking…….Highly recommended by my cardiologist who is also top-notch.
Dr Naka saved my life. I had myocarditis and went into cardiac arrest. His team quickly operated on me for the bivad and once I was stable a few weeks later, did another surgery to put me on the lvad. Then a few months later did yet another complex surgery to remove that device. At each step, he and his team shared the risks and possible outcomes. I trusted his competence and decisions
Sometimes we find a provider that leaves an indelible imprint and helps brighten the path in front of us during a particularly challenging medical crisis. Categorically I am grateful to Dr. Naka for opening up new medical "avenues" for my child . Physicians like Dr. Naka empower patients to venture into new unfamiliar medical territories to enhance their quality of life. I hereby give Dr. Naka my ...
It was two weeks ago when I was blessed to meet with Dr. Naka What was happening on that day in the USA? My child was in critical condition. With his knowledge, care, sensitivity and gentle approach Dr. Naka performed open heart surgery and stayed from start to finish. With the advent of COVID-19 some things would not never be the same However, Dr. Naka’s passion to help his patients would remain his focus and aim. As another year unfolds I recommend Dr. Naka as a leading expert in the cardio-thoracic domain.
Dr Naka saved my Life 08/20/2006 I will never forget my Heart Surgery took no more than 2 hours but it was the best thing that happen to me.
Worst Doctor on the face of the planet. He’s so arrogant that he didn’t accept that not stopping a patient’s brilinta 5 days beforehand was standard practice. This monumental error caused the patient to continuously bleed on his table for many many hours longer than the surgery should have lasted. Then him, or one of his crock doctors, moved this patient to a step down unit Friday night for a skeleton crew to take over. That next day some quack nurse and some doctor’s orders gave this patient a bolus of heparin which caused the patient to start bleeding out of the incision from the surgery. He complained he wasn’t feeling well as he starting losing the 1+ liters into his cavities. Because it was a skeleton crew Naka and his crap doctors didn’t come when called in time. This patient died. This patient was my father. Do not ever ever go to this crap doctor! Ever!
My sister died in his care. She was only 31 years old and was undergoing open heart surgery. Her aorta was stuck to the breast bone from a previous open heart surgery due to scar tissue. When he performed the incision he sliced through her aorta causing so much trauma it was unable to be repaired and ultimately lead to her death. The hospital then had the nerve to write she died due to natural causes on the death certificate! I feel like he could have evaluated her condition better prior to surgery and it would have prevented her death. While she was on life support for 3 days before she passed, he never once took the time to console our family. We were devastated. A very cold doctor and definitely would not recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
