In the physician community, Anzai and his practice are known as the best OBs. I am a pediatrician and have delivered both my babies w Anzai- his decision-making throughout the pregnancy and at delivery, and an unmatched operative technique, made the difference between outcomes. I cannot say enough that these are the best OBs in NY.

Dr. Anzai is one of the kindest, most caring doctors I have ever had. He was present at my first delivery, and he was the OB for my second pregnancy and delivered that baby. I didn't felt judged for asking off-the-wall pregnancy questions; he was never dismissive and always reassuring. Between his experience and his commitment to evidence-based medicine, I trust him completely. My first pregnancy was difficult; if I choose to have another pregnancy and baby, it will be in part because I feel confident in Dr. Anzai's exceptional care.

I’ve been his patient since I was 27 or 28. I delivered two babies. So it’s almost 20 years now. I never had an issue with him, and am grateful that he’s been my OBGYN doctor.

I was very clear that I only want services covered by my insurance for annual check up. So when I received a prescription for mammogram and ultrasound for my breasts, I didn’t doubt those weren’t covered. A week after the exam, I received a bill for ultrasound. I was told by the insurance company that only mammogram is covered and currently there is no policy that covers ultrasound for annual check up in the United States. Maybe Dr. Anzai is too noble and honorable to have such an administrative knowledge, but shouldn’t receptionists know?!? It’s my third or fourth time checked up by Dr. Anzai. I’ve never liked him. Always awkward because he is lacking friendliness. He can also be more informative especially when giving back the results. It would be very relieving to know what kind of tests were conducted and how exactly “fine” the results were.

I am an orthopedic surgeon, and there is nobody else I would trust more to delivery my babies. Anzai successfully delivered my first son at NYU in 2018. He made me physically and emotionally comfortable, and protected my body so that I left the birthing experience totally unscathed. He was calm, supportive, technically competent. He is adept at vaginal deliveries, assistance w forceps, or even c section. He will keep you and baby happy and safe. Anzai is an excellent choice!
