List of Zero Point One Physical Therapy's Reviews
I would highly recommend working with Charlie. He is a great physical therapist -- very knowledgeable, friendly, and level-headed. I started working with Charlie in order to address longstanding chronic pain issues -- stemming from injuries I sustained from tennis and track during high school -- that have disrupted my daily life and prevented me from doing many of the activities I love. Over the course of about five months, I have been able to substantially improve my capacity for physical activity -- lifting weights, running, and playing tennis -- while getting noticeably stronger and more comfortable in my body. Key to this has been the ability to work one-on-one with Charlie in the personal gym at Zero Point One. The gym is well-equipped with everything from free weights to a squat rack to a reverse hyper machine. Rather than sticking you with only low-level exercises that often have limited benefits, Charlie helps you progress in the gym, navigating you through any obstacles created by injuries/pain. In my opinion, this is the exact right approach to physical therapy, and I think it would be highly appealing to anyone who is very motivated to overcome injuries/chronic pain, and particularly to anyone wanting to play sports at a decent level. Charlie is a great guide in the journey of overcoming pain. He is attentive and seems genuinely invested in helping you get better. This sort of deep investment in the client can be difficult to find in physical therapy. But it's an area where Charlie and Zero Point One excel.
Working with Charlie over the past 6 months has truly transformed my healing journey, and I can't recommend it enough! What sets the work at Zero Point One PT apart from anywhere else I’ve gone is the unique approach Charlie’s taken to help me build a mind-body connection, allowing me to better understand what is causing my pain and how to address it. Charlie takes the time to listen carefully to all my questions or concerns, thoroughly discussing any pain or recent experiences, and creates a personalized plan that has allowed me to move forward in a way I haven't been able to with another PT. It's clear he genuinely cares about his clients as he goes out of his way to check in on them and monitor progress outside of appointments. His dedication to each individual’s well-being is unmatched, and I am so grateful to have found him for this work! Anytime a friend asks me for a PT recommendation, I am very excited to pass his info along, knowing they will have the same wonderful experience.
I've visited many Physical Therapy centers over the years due to my back pains, and YJ has been the best PT that I've had met. He not only took my pain away during my visit, but he also provide great information that I can use daily to help take my pain away.
Charlie is an outstanding physical therapist who helped me recover from persistent lower back pain. After just 2-3 months of working with him, I experienced significant improvement and felt equipped with the tools to maintain my progress on my own. His expertise, personalized approach, and genuine care made all the difference—highly recommend!
Charlie and YJ are best-in-class physical therapists. Two family members and myself have all had exceptional experiences at Zero Point One PT, for a wide range of needs. After working with numerous other PTs at other practices, it's obvious that there are physical therapists, and then there are physical therapists. YJ & Charlie are the latter: not only are they attentive and compassionate, but they are adept at identifying what each individual client needs, and providing the tools and support to heal in a holistic way. It takes a lot to get me to write a review (it's either really bad or really good), but I wouldn't think twice before recommending Zero Point One to anybody I care about. Selfishly I'd want to keep them a secret, but that would be unfair to these two great dudes who have made an enormous positive impact on my health and wellbeing, and on the lives of two of my loved ones. Can't rate them highly enough – Charlie and YJ are masters of their craft, and I'm deeply grateful to them both.
YJ is one of the most professional and engaged PTs I worked with. Highly recommend. 👍🏻
Charlie was amazing and helped me get over an injury while I was marathon training. I was able to get back on track after only a few sessions. So helpful!
Charlie is an amazing Physical Therapist. I'd recommend him to anyone with a complicated injury who hopes to get back to an active lifestyle. I cycled through numerous PTs throughout New York as I tried return to sports (as well as a normal life) following a partially-successful spine surgery, and Charlie was instrumental in helping me get my life back. He operates at the highest level in the field and is a pleasure to spend time with. I trust him so much I referred my family members to see him to work on some long-standing PT needs they had.
Charlie is the best PT I have worked with, for almost a year I suffered from lower back pain and tried different PT’s,nothing work until I met him,he gave me the right treatment and now after about a month and half of working with him my lower back feel so good,If you are looking for a PT,I strongly recommend to give him a try.
Charlie Tiene helped me heal my painful sciatica! And got me running again. I was suffering terribly from increasingly persistent sciatica on my left side (lower leg and foot). Walking and standing brought either tingling, numbness, a dull ache or outright pain. Depending on what was going on- too much prolonged sitting or too much walking, I would find myself in quite a bit of sciatica pain— sometimes I had to pop two advil or more often I would sleep it off. After trying various PT and other therapies (chiropractor and medical massage), and even yoga with a highly revered yoga teacher, nothing was working. My orthopedist recommended Zero Point One Physical Therapy. I started working with Charlie who is a great listener and has a great way of getting you to articulate where the pain is, what kind of pain it is and what brings it on. He is also a great diagnostician, sensitively determining which movements exacerbate symptoms and which ones help support improvement. Through what can only be described as a holistic and thorough process, Charlie helped me build back strength around all the small muscles relevant to the sciatica. This was through various exercises (strengthening) and also manual therapies designed to bring relief to the nerve. Charlie would also send me home with a not too overwhelming homework set of exercises to help me maintain improvement. I went from having trouble walking to actually running again (after 7 years of not running due to an injury)! It’s like a miracle. I am in better shape than I’ve been in in the past 5 years (pre-Covid) and feel like I’m constantly improving. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. They have a beautiful gym and an approach which seems to get at the tough issues other therapists were unable to help with. Anyone suffering from sciatica, I guarantee they are worth a try. Ask for Charlie.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
