Visiting hours are from 4-8 only because of covid …… but they put my non covid mom , sick with pneumonia and cancer on a covid floor surrounded by covid , but I cannot be there to advocate for her or hold her hand , even though I’m vaccinated and do not have covid - seriously! Enough is enough

I know they are understaffed for customer service and are challenged regardng office management. However as a patient. (Montefiore Medical Group) I can not tell how poor this place run. ERRORS, misinformation and no follow up. You call and they never pick up phone, you are advised to leave a message and they will call you back. NEVER happens, I placed mutiple calls no return. Sad as I was very happy with the Nursing staff and my Doctor was very good.

Using my fiances acct.... but; Tried to go in the ER with my friend this evening and was told I could "stay in the waiting room but can't go back in a room with him". Why you ask? Because I only have my 1st vaccine. Does this make sense to anyone???? Corral all the unvaccinated and half vaccinated people in the waiting room on top of each other instead of sending them back into a private room with the patient they came in with. This place is out of touch with reality.

The ER is the worst ER I have ever been to. My wife waited in th ER for over 8 hrs. She was to be admitted around 8 pm. By 1 am, she was still in the ER. Staff here don't care. They are arrogant and unproffessional

Don’t ever go to the emergency room here - its Trauma status should be downgraded so ambulance is not forced to take you here - patient went in after motorcycle accident - they did not clean out or bandage his wounds, did not give him antibiotics, did not give him tetanus shot even though doctor came in and said they would, did not pull out his IV before he was leaving - he had to tell them to do it, but most of all these INCOMPETENT doctors discharged him after about 5 hours and said he had only soft tissue damage based on their review of mri and xrays - he was in pain and went to his regular doctor 2 days late who said he had fractured clavicle and ribs - how do you possibly miss that St Luke’s!!!!! NEVER go there if you want competent care - this is bad hospital with bad reputation that has not changed with the name change from Newburgh to Cornwall -

Horrible service. They let me to go middle of the Friday night by my self with broken collar bone, recommended to go to the pharmacy and get the pain killers and ice by my self.
