Mount St. Mary's Neurology Center's Online Review Report Card

If i could give negative stars i would.My mother just died a slow painful death there.The nursing staff are useless rude and let my mother starve for 4 dsys before i finally got to see herShe got there walking and talking and left in a body bag! She got there on friday but didnt get her doctor til tuesdsy.4 dsys too late.Nobody there to advocate for her.Her room was filthy dirty .With this time that we are in with not being able to be there yo see this the nurses judt dont care.Dure they brought food to the room but literally dumped it on her tray that was too far from the bed for my mom to reach.not to mention she needed help to eat at that point .Nobody even helped her get a damn drink.Once they realized her condition was now looking grim they finally let us come see her.What a shock i had .While i was there i observed the lack of help or treatment my mother was recieving and the filthy conditions of her room i kinda lost it.The doctor she did get on tuesday was her only bright light to this xitustion.If you want your love ones to die by all means go to st marys!!Once i pointed out my concerns to her doctor her doctor looked and observed and she actually agreed with my concerns .Too little too late by thst time they let my poor mother ztarve and decline to the point of no return.For a catholic hospital their staff is the most incompetent staff i have ever encontered.When i told the doctor how upset i was and how im going to tell whoever will listen to me about how my mother had been failed by them.she got the rockstar treatment we were able to stay with het they cleaned her room but the damage was allready done.she got to die in that finally cleaned room.

Mount St Mary's Hospital is the Best if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be getting the necessary care for my heart the doctor that treated me had gotten me in to heart failure clinic at another hospital, now I am alive and doing well. They treated me at the top with wound care as well, when I could of lost my foot they did the necessary treatments to save my foot.  When I was struggling financially to pay my bills I applied for a medical scholarship at the hospital and they took care of my bills 100 percent for a whole year and if needed they will allow me to apply for another scholarship. Extremely pleased with the personal experience and the service. Everyone was so kind and caring.

Mixed feelings, the ER is a hit or miss. Most times your waiting for hours, of course the more serious go ahead of you which is ok, but to watch some people suffering and no one seeing if they are okay is ridiculous. On a good note if anyone needs care on the 5th floor, go for it, they are great. They did everything to care for my loved one. Sometimes up and beyond. Thanks!!

A note to say how thankful we were for your hospital's kindness to our sister.The ICU staff and the sixth floor team were terrific and sensitive toher needs - everyone from MDs , nurses , and attendants! ( Our sister is a Downs adult)Our family was very impressed and we wanted you to know !

I have been here twice. Once for me and once for my wife. Found them to be very efficient, caring, timely!
