David Kavesteen's Online Review Report Card

The care I received from Dr Kavestein and his staff was excellent. Dr Kavestein is always thorough and never rushed. I have total trust with my cardiac care with Dr K and his staff

Con man. Shady. Insurance fraud. He is not even board certified, but says he is. K Currently in trouble with dept of labor because he treats his employees like garbage. Just cares about the $$$ I dont even know how he is still in business. Know who you're dealing with

Not happy with the practice at all. Went in for heart issues and tests and got a sales pitch to use them as a primary. Never got a call for my test results. Front staff not pleasant or helpful.

I have a congenital heart condition and saw Dr Kavesteen to have my annual checkup. The technicians did an EKG and an ultrasound of my heart and sent me into the room to speak to the doctor. I am giving this review 2 starts because the technicians did a good job. They were thorough and helpful. The doctor however, was not and I had one of the least professional experiences Ive ever had with a doctor. The doctor came in the room looked at my chart for all of five seconds, read that I have the condition and then asked me if Ive googled the condition. I responded yes, I have and gave a brief overview of what I understood about it. He responded yes thats right talked for all of 30 seconds about the condition and told me to take my chart. I held my chart as he started ushering me out of the room, telling me he wanted to see me again for a walk test and was giving me a take home monitor. He immediately started walking out of the room and I had to stop him in the hallway to ask him the questions I had. I asked him, in the hallway, if he looked at the ultrasound and he said yes, which Ill give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he did before. I asked him, in the hallway, what the results were and he said there was some leakage but everything was fine. Leakage is never a good thing to hear, so I nervously asked him, in the hallway, to elaborate. He said its fine and not a big deal and reiterated he wanted me to come back in for the other tests as he started ushering me again to the exit. At this point, I walked to the front desk said I did not want to take the monitor home and did not want to schedule a follow-up. I will be finding a different doctor and not coming back here.

I spoke with Debbie at 11:19 on april 1, 2019 and asked her if kavesteen accepts aetna. She checked and told me yes. When i told her that i had 1 more question she breathed deeply and said uhh huhhhh, condescendingly. The doctor should hire someone that can, at the very least, answer the phone like a professional.

I went to see my doctor and Dr. Kavesteen walked into the room without knocking. I wasn't there to see him, but he tried to say hello and asked if I had my tests yet. I wasn't there for tests. I was there to be seen by my doctor. He did not apologize, he just walked out the door and then I heard him yell at the staff for not telling him which patients were his. I looked him up and I am not surprised to learn that he is not Board Certified in ANYTHING. I have had better experiences shopping for used cars.

I enjoyed my time as a medical assistant intern at Dr. K's office. It was a rewarding experience that taught me a lot about communicating with patients and working with medical professionals. Dr. K is a caring, friendly, and professional, and his staff is great to work with. Would recommend to any individual seeking to gain entry-level clinical experience in a medical setting.

Absolutely horrible. Dr. Kavesteen and his staff were rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. First I waited over an hour in the waiting room. Then I went into another smaller room that had crumpled and dirty paper on the table. I was told to take off my shirt because Dr. Kavesteen always does tests before coming in. I was sent in by my doctor because I was told that they had a doctor who could treat my leg cramps and blockages or clots. They took pictures of my heart and neck and then I waited another 20 minutes for the doctor to come in. He never looked at the tests and he never talked to me about my legs. I don't know what kind of operation they run there, but when I told my husband about it, he told me that everyone said it is a scam business and not a doctors office. I will never go back there again and no one else should either. All they cared about was me paying my bill up front for tests that I didn't know about. I should have trusted my instincts when i first walked in.
