List of Jhansi Rao's Reviews
I love Dr. Rao. She replies quickly to all my messages and has gotten me thru some difficult times. Even though I can choose another primary my husband and I have chosen to keep her.
I have been with Dr Rao for a few years now on a recommendation of a friend. I am very happy with the care I get from her--I always bring my list of concerns and she helps me with all of them! I can message her and I get a quick response or a phone call from her office.
I started with Dr. Jhansi Rao in August 2022. Dr. Rao is a professional with caring attitude. She pays attention to your concern and administer what is needed for your kind of illness. She is a God send. Advantage Care is where people should visit to be seen and Dr. Rao I highly recommend to be your provider. I moved to Long Island 4 years ago and I wish I had her first when coming to live here. Nevertheless, I found her and I am thankful she is my doctor!
11/30/22 At this date and time. Dr Rao has been a great help for me. She's responsible for all the medical supplies and mobile equipment I need for my lifestyle. She's been my primary doctor for over 20 years! (I recommend 3.7 Stars)
I loved Dr. Rao I thought she was kind considerate and very through and took good care of my Mom
Do not waste your time! This Dr doesn’t even deserve the one star review. Very arrogant, did not care to help or to listen to what was going on with me. This was my first visit and it lasted 5 minutes as she didn’t even let me talk. A few minutes into my visit she tells me to call the office if I have any further questions ( mind you she never let me even talk) then walked out the room. I walked out the room so confused, I seriously thought I was being pranked! No one was there to even tell me how to get out of the very confusing building and I ended up leaving through the back door. Long story short this was a horrible experience, will NEVER be back!!!
Horrible doctor. Bad bedside manner and doesn’t like to help patients. My throat was killing me every time I swallowed and my ear was hurting. She looked at me and said your ear is fine and we will do a strep test and if it comes back positive I will give you antibiotics. My test came back negative and she told me to take cough medicine. Are you serious????? Don’t waste your time going here, very bad practice. Just read her other reviews.
She is very numb. Uninviting for a doctor. No smiles. When she looks at you, it's as if she is looking through you. She has no compassion. I told her about some pain I had and it was just shrugged off as it's bursitis. Never checked the area of pain I was referring too. Sent a script to my pharmacy for drugs. Pain and inflammation. Dr. You didn't even check to see what it was. You just guessed. Thanks for absolutely nothing!!!
I had no idea she would be so terrible. I had an appointment with her 09/13/17 she ordered xrays of my shoulder and blood work. To date 09/29/17 she has not called with my xray nor blood work results. I have to rub bengay to ease the pain everyday. When I have seen other doctors the results are uploaded into your medical folder. Horrible and disgusting way to treat patients. The office had me make an appointment to pay another deductible to get my results.
I would not recommend Dr. Rao to friends or family. I've had many bad experiences with this doctor. My insurance requires referrals. When asking or requesting referrals from this doctor, it is very slow and a very hard time. I had an issue with my lower back and it was effecting me IN other areas of my body. I wanted to see a neurologist and she said I didn't need one. Finally I got to see one and I received an MRI & found out I had a herniated disk. She then told Me I didn't need PT.. HORRIBLE

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
