I have been seeing him for almost 2 years in middle island and now plainview he is caring and gentile excellent bedside manner a good doctor is hard to find thanks Doc johanna

Between being unable to get life-maintaining timed prescriptions filled, paying for useless visits, and being ignored when bringing up new issues, it's clear this doctor has too much going on. Nonetheless that doesn't stop him from taking a weeks vacation every 2-4 weeks. Even more specifically, he doesn't read any of your tests appropriately before seeing you, and even when he is with you, his doesn't read them properly which can lead to misdiagnoses, or god forbid, something worse. Those are all the red flags we got to experience. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. He's a nice guy, but he's got way too much going on and he clearly does not invest enough time into properly taking care of his patients. This is based on visits within the last 2 years (Early 2020 thru March 2022). Look for better, because there are better.

Well let me start with.... DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. Unless you want to be ignored regardless of your health condition. Long story short, my dad is dead because this doctor’s office didn’t answered his calls, no one was able to help him because he didn’t speak English, and when finally someone spoke Spanish the front desk lady told him, that he owned $247.00 and the Dr. will not speak to him until he paid the full amount!! He told them he had COVID-19 for 12 days but that he couldn’t take any medicine because “Dr. Gutierrez” told him that because of his heart condition, he had to get the doctors approval first before our father could take any pill at all. My dad died and it is mostly because of this doctor’s neglect.

Dr. Gutierrez is absolutely excellent!!! He is kind, knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. He takes time to listen to his patients and to provide them with the best care. The staff is also always helpful and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Gutierrez to my family and friends, and anyone in need of an incredible doctor!

I came for naeaseu for indian food I had, he decided to change my medicine from promerthizene for 2 years to some BS that doesnt work so I come back and spend another $30 co pay. staff is unhelpful, uncompassionate, and unprofessional. The office is the worst, attempting to get refills is impossible, and every visit requires actually two visits one to see doc one to get results, they will not give over phone or send to you, office staff is terrible they do not care about patients and takes weeks to get a call back, disgraceful.
