Dr. Tallarico is the most unprofessional physician I have ever met! I don’t know whether he has personal issues going on or perhaps maybe your typical ‘Napoleon complex’ or possibly even ‘roid’ rage?? Whatever it is, this man is not of sound mind and should not be practicing medicine until he gets some help. He was rude, arrogant and some might even call him inappropriate!!!! NOT RECOMMEND!

I was referred to NYSWC by my primary doctor for pain management. My first visit with Dr. Tallarico was quick with little information about my condition given to me. When he was talking about doing a spinal injection, it appeared that he hadn't read my MRI report in full, because he only addressed one area of concern. Once I stated the second area, he looked at the report on his computer and in an "oh yeah" moment, told me that he would do two injections. ?On the day of the procedure, I had to pay up front for two injections, but only  received one. My inquiries to the billing department the next day revealed that I had to wait and see what was actually billed by the doctor. A month later, I called and was given a $14 refund on my initial $439.79 up-front payment. Needless to say, I lost confidence in Dr. Tallarico but saw his PA after that. I saw her last on September 1, where she said she would refer me to a surgeon. Here it is September 14th and still no referral. The medical record

Dr. Tallarico was very helpful when it came to my pain management and dealing with workers comp.

Dr. T is great. He is the ONLY person I would allow injecting shots into my spine. He knows I'm terrified of needles but he is so comforting and good. When I get nervous, I crack jokes and he laughs at them. He also listens to great music so at least you have that distraction when you're getting a steroid shot. I trust Dr. Tallarico and highly recommend him. He cares. That's important.

I've had others do shots in my back and none of them ever did it right. I will only allow Dr. Tallarico to do them because he gets it right the first time. He will take the time to listen to you and to answer questions or concerns.

Treated my mother @ outpatient surgery center. Did block. Nurse shook her head reading his post-open notes. Said that she had relief, which she did not. In fact, he never even asked her. Dr. Tallarico seemed incapable of making eye contact during what little conversation took place. Nurse said he always notes proceedure as being a success without asking the patient if they have a reduction in pain. Nurses don't seem to respect him. That says volumes for me.

My mum had a block by Dr. Tallarico. As soon as the block was completed he was off to the next one - but not before writing in the notes that it was successful in relieving her pain. It was not successful, nor did he ever ask her if it was a success. The nurse was very upset by this, stating he constantly wrote procedures up in this manner without regard to the patient. Sounds like a factory to me. The next block was with Dr. Trusilo - a totally different experience. A very caring physician in comparison - in fact there was no comparison! The nurses stated she would be the physician of choice for their families.

I've been having Dr. T do all my nerve blocks and nerve burns for the last few years. Can't say enough about him. He's caring, great, answers any and all questions and if you ask him to suggest how to help with the pain, he'll tell you.

Its a mill, stay away.
