At my follow up with him a few days after a life threatening heart attack he did not even remember that he had seen me the day before the heart attack and had ignored my complaints of chest pain. He had not remembered that I had seen him for a follow up of a car accident, broken leg and torn ACL in January. It's like I'm meeting him for the first time each time and I'm a stranger to him.
Dr. Barcomb is a wonderful primary I was with him for 18 years. He was always very thorough and went up to bat for me to figure out my big underlying issue. My last phone call there was for results from test waiting for new inhaler to control my asthma...a nurse took it upon herself to return my call and left me a voice mail sharing her personal opinion how to control my asthma. That was the last snide remark I was going to listen to from her! Never did get inhaler.
I’ve been a patient of Dr.B’s for years and so have my 3 kids he has always been caring, professional and takes time to listen. I always recommend him to anyone looking for a new doctor! He gets 5 stars in my book!
Since moving to Rochester Regional Health, this small town family doctor has unfortunately become impersonal and non-patient focused. Sitting on hold for 15 minutes to speak to a “representative” is not what I am looking for from my general practitioner. Very sad.
Always very caring.
Better off getting care from webmd yourself. Takes several days for a call back, then they have no idea who you are or what is going on and blame you for their issues.
Very Unprofessional Care. Would recommend going to Rochester.
I have been missed diagnosed, treated like its all in my head, been given little to no answers, solutions or suggestions on several occasions. When you cAll to make an appointment the staff treats you like they're bothered by you. It is the most frustrating doctor/doctors office I've ever been to and will never go to again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
