The emergency room, it probably one of the worst in Long Island, long wait time, not the place to go if you are having a real emergency.

Once again, a completely traumatic experience at this hospital. Besides the head of pulminology, I have to beg or scream to get any doctor to actually see my mother. They seem to think they can treat patients just by looking at charts. Nurses spend half their time trying to track down doctors. There are also no nurse managers on duty on the weekend? What does that weekend matter in a hospital? I will not be leaving here this time without contact information for management. After spending time in other hospitals i have learned exactly why this hospital is so bad and I will not rest until they do Something fix it. I have had 5 procedures in 4 hospitals in 2 different states and experiences with 3 others. This is the WORST hospital

Was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2021 and had robotic surgery performed by Dr. Pappas and his team. I can't imagine having a more professional and comforting team . I was released four days later after being nursed back to health by an extraordinary team of nurses and aides. Thanks for everything!!!

El hospital es grande y limpio, la emergencia deja mucho que desear 1ro porque esta muy escondida y pareciera un lugar abandonado y 2do porque la atención es muy pobre... mi papá estuvo interno 2 semanas y el cuidado es pesimo, prácticamente no les importan los pacientes solo puedo decir de 2 enfermeras que si tienen vocación, buen corazon para los pacientes y aman su trabajo.

My son was barely 5 min old when a nurse told me she would have to call CPS if I decided against a Vitamin K shot. Deeply disturbing and traumatizing. We were there for three days and not one nurse or consultant offered formula to my son when he was clearly having latching issues. Do not birth your baby here!

Wow. I recently had issues with my gallbladder. I went to the emergency room 5 hours later they saw me. I ended up staying in there for four days. First they tried to say that I had gastroenteritis then they tried to say they didn't know what was wrong. Then suddenly a doctor comes running in and says I have septicemia and I need to be admitted immediately. Fast forward to today. I was told by the surgeon and the admitting people that if I run a fever or have any issues with the gallbladder drain they put in that I should have right away come to the emergency room and let them know. Well I went to the emergency room and they told me it was going to be 10 and 1/2 hours before someone could see me. Now I'm laying in bed at home. Wondering if I'm going to live

La atencion super buena

To say this is the "flagship" of Sinai medicine is a joke. Been waiting 10 hours for my father to be seen and still nothing. They claim the beds are full. Can't give us a time-frame. Only seem to take one triage patient in at a time and they take about 2-3 hours to be seen. In Afghanistan while getting shelled, we were able to move a mass casualty event of 20+ soldiers through a hospital with only 6 trauma beds 3 triage rooms 20 total ICU and ICW wards and 2 OR rooms a lot more efficiently than this place, and we were already taking care of other patients. This place is a disaster. Better to die comfortably at home than come here.

The ER doesn’t deserve even 1 star. The ER is filthy. The nurses don’t check on you. There is no urgency and treatment is delayed because if the incompetence of the staff. My father has been in the ER 22 hours on a stretcher that he keeps sliding out of that i had to reposition him in with no help from any staff. They have not given him anything to eat or drink( he is medically aloud to have both) They have identified an infection but have not treated anything. Delay in treatment is causing his confusion/psychosis to get worse he’s going to get septic . I’m filing a complaint with the DOH. And I’m taking him elsewhere, Mt Sinai ER is horrible and their incompetence is going to cause unnecessary deaths.

Tuve mis gemelos aquí en el mes de julio 2023, estuve un mes hospitalizada, todooo todooooooo fue espectacular tuve preclancia diabetes gestacional y los bebés prematuros todas las atenciones las enfermeras los médicos todoo fue de lo mejor agradecida infinitamente!!
