Mount Sinai South Nassau's Online Review Report Card

South Nassau hospital in Oceanside is an excellent hopital. Last year I became very very ill with Deadly Sepsis and Septic Shock. 😱. The Surgeon saved my life. And the nurses took excellent care of me. Everybody knew exactly what to do. I was there for a little over a week. Had it not been for South Nassau I wouldn't be here. The Er is excellent also. Grade A. Hospital all the way. Thank you God Bless.

Very nice personel at all times. The food for patients is so so. My doctor, Dr. Park, affiliated there, was wonderful. Went there for sucessful afib shock procedure. Afib was cured painlessly and completely. Very successful procedure. United Healthcare is accepted there. I do not know about other healthcare organizations.

I was booked to go in for a procedure, this hospital is FANTASTIC. The staff really cares about their patients. They work hard to please and are very professional. Both in the L&B and in the ER I was welcomed by kind and caring doctors, nurses, and staff in general. The hospital is modern and clean and most of all I got the attention I needed and didnt feel ignored. Thank you!!!!

I normally see Dr Moon as my gynaecologist. He represents this hospital and is located in Freeport. He’s the best, hes patient, ensures the Pt is comfortable, explains the procedure and always asks consent before performing any procedure allows you to explain yourself without rushing you or looking at the clock and answers all ur questions.Was looking for gynae and I’m glad I met this amazing dr. Keep up the great job.

The OBGYN team at South Nassau delivered my 2nd child child which was supposed to be a planned C-section. My wife and I wanted to attempt a normal birth but the doctor’s office said due to the past delivery attempts a C-section would have to be performed. When the day finally arrived and we went to the hospital we told them we wanted to try a normal birth and they agreed as well. 5 min later my 2nd daughter crying while they clean her up which In my opinion was the quickest birth I’ve ever heard of. I was overwhelmed with happiness that my wife didn’t need have surgery to deliver the baby. To go from back to back C- sections to a normal birth was a blessing. This may not sound like anything special but for those of you who know how amazing this is do yourself a favor and go to South Nassau.

The nurses in labor delivery made her feel right at home and truly showed they cared. Thankyou Jennifer, Janet, lisa , all the nurses doctors and staff thankyou so much

The nurses were exceptional. I received the best post-op care after my surgery. The doctors and nurses were attentive and caring and took care of everything I needed without me having to ask. The women at the main entrance were another story. My friend came to pick me up with my 2 children, who hadn't seen me in two days. They were not only unhelpful, but rude. My children were upset and scared by the exchange. They could have politely told my friend where to wait or called up for me.

My best friend was hospitalized at South Shore and I want to say thank you to all the staff and the great care they provided. My friend was transferred to Meadowbrook Care Center in which he was able to recover, that place has the finest therapy team.

Well I must say it's been my second successful surgery and with one of the most amazing teams I have had the pleasure to be serviced by, Dr, Stelios Koutsoumbelis and crew have gone to levels that can only deserve this praise all left in God's hands and giving these professional physicians the gift and abilities to perform as they did I am extremely grateful to all let's not leave out the nurses and all who are part of the front line that makes it all happen thank you all from my family and me, God bless, SY, Mitchell Fernandez

I had a wonderful experience at mount sinai hospital in Ocean side. It was my first labor and delivery. Going into this experience I was extremely nervous and anxious but meeting with the doctors and nurses they made me feel extremely comfortable. My process through the labor was easy. The nurses were very helpful and stood by my side and helped me every step of the way. I made it to six centimeters and baby didn’t want to come down so they prep me for an emergency csection. I was extremely nervous but all the nurses, doctors and anesthesiologist made me feel comfortable they prep me right away and with in 25 minutes the baby was out and I was rolling back into my room with a healthy baby boy. The staff, nurses, doctors made me feel comfortable being here. I had such a great experience and would highly recommend this hospital.
