List of Philip Veith's Reviews
I am a 28 year old female and I have a chronic illness called lupus and was admitted into the emergency room for not being able to breathe with moderate to severe lupus rashes. After being administered several IV steroid treatments for a what’s a called a lupus flair and several abuteral treatments I began feeling better thank god. The day of my admittance this doctor screamed that I shouldn’t have been admitted to a well respected pulmonologist and to get me out. The pulmonologist disagreed with him and said calmly back that I am having a lupus flair and my blood work and symptoms correlate with that and they wanted to at the very least keep me over night. The following morning doctor veith came in and diagnosed me with anxiety, yes anxiety. I have a chronic illness and he had the audacity to say all this was anxiety with out running any more tests. I feel he ignorant and condescending. Several nurses said I was not the first young female patient to be treated this way by him and that he always pushes patients out of the hospital. The though of this is scary to me that there are actually doctors out there like this that care more about their own ego than the patient that has been suffering before them. I question his ability to diagnose properly and I question his reasons to becoming a doctor. Very unsatisified and will hopefully never have to deal with this doctor again. I recommend if you are assigned him as a doctor in the hospital to aks for another doctor that will treat you with the respect you deserve and listen to your symptoms. I was told that the patient has that right and I wished I had used but I did not want to cause drama and any more animosity.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
