Make sure you get a second opinion from another cardiologist at another clinic. If I didn't mind driving 100 miles RT / 300 m RT respectively from Utica, I would get a second opinion at Syracuse University Med Center or the Guthrie Clinic / Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre PA - Binghamton region --the latter being one of the finest for cardio in America with many of its Drs having studied / interned at Mayo. Robert Packer Hosp saved my grandfather's life according to my grandmother and it's located in a quaint little village surrounded by beautiful countryside--no crime--and affordable guest houses close by.
Hes a young cocky dr. Worst Doctor ive ever had he never remembers what tests hes sent you for and you have to explain yourself everytime u go there. I just goto the hospital now cause he's only made me sicker cause he doesn't listen and doesn't understand. Hes lucky hes got his dad to help him out. I highly recommend a different dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
