List of Peipei Zhou's Reviews
Excellent office manners. Explains everything in layman terms. Listens and addresses all your concerns. He caught my heart condition symtoms and had arranged for testing that found that I needed a 5 way bypass,
I have seen a dozen doctors since my quintuple bypass 12 years ago, and Dr. Z is by far and away the best of the cardiologists. He takes as much time as he can, with a little humor on the side and tells me like it is. Some people who don't want to do what he says, don't like him, he does not mince his words. I have complete faith in him and he has never let me down.
This Doctor is an excellent Doctor !! Wonderful bedside manor. I would recommend. Dr Thou to everyone who needs. "Heart' care ! I give him 20 stars !!!!
I had a stint installed in Albany Med in 2015. Was sent to Zhou because he was an ??associate?? and was near to me. The first time I saw him he told me a story about putting the hand in cold water to perform a stress test when he was in China because they didn't have proper equipment to do it electroniclly . He told me the same story the next two visits. On my first visit I expressed my suspicion on the installation of the stint and asked to see my records and he stated that he didn't have them and asked f I had them? and he told me that he could get them if I needed them??? I too, have been tested with the in house equipment with no explanation of why I was being tested or no notification of what the results were??? But this is not my complaint, my complaint is that I was told that I had to take the medication perscribed by Dr. Justin Maroney working the Albany area hospitals and my perscription for clopidogrel cannot be refilled with out Zhou refilling the perscription. His office was contacted twice by the pharmacy to refill it and there was no responce, so I contacted his office and at first had no record of me and eventually stated that they would contact me to let me know that the Dorctor had indeed contacted the pharmacy to refill the perscription. This process took over three weeks and I still haven't heard from his office
Dr Zhou was amazing during our trial. He is calm, he listens, he's attentive & we got answers! Thank You!
Excellent Dr., Explains everything in layman's terms , will answer all questions and really cares about his patients
Terrible Dr. Have to have my surgery canceled for a problem he told me not to worry about 4 years ago. Was rather combative.
He was rude and very uncaring. He did not explain things very well. He was not interested in finding the problem and refused to do any test. I would not recommend this doctor. He was half asleep during the one procedure he did and was rude to the staff . He seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere else and was not looking at me, the patient or the monitors. If you want a good cardiologist I suggest you look elsewhere.
Dr. Zhou, Is a very nice dr. He takes his time explaining things to you & bout the test that you have done. He likes to joke around, there is no harm in doing that. He care bout his people. Thank you Dr.Zhou for being in the Oneonta, NY area
He does not explain test results very well and seems to find things amuseing. I prefer a doctor who is friendly but serious. He was rude to the nurse during my test. He walked out of the room when she was trying to talk to him about reversing test. Acted as if he didn't hear her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
