List of Christopher J Skomra Md's Reviews
He was such a jerk. I cant even talk about my experience, I do not want to re-live it. He has terrible bedside manner and doesn't listen to anything you say. I felt rushed, uncomfortable and would NOT RECOMMEND. RUN.
Dr skomra is an excellent surgeon but is very arrogant and has a very condescending attitude. This goes for some of his staff too. I have been seeing him for over 20 years and had multiple procedures with him. His attitude has deteriorated and is appalling. Recently had a uti and he never notified me. I finally called after a week and the said said they would give me something. I had already received antibiotics from my pcp. I would have been septic. When I asked to talk to the manager the secretary said someone would call me. It’s been a month and no one has called. WNY urology is a poorly run facility. It has too many doctors and patients They treat you like cattle and the right hand doesn’t know what tge left had is doing. During covid patients were sitting close together in the huge office with face masks around their necks. Very poor medical follow up. Stay clear
Dr Skomra was rude and unprofessional. He spent the whole visit leaning against the wall with his one foot crossed over the other. He never did an examination of any kind, and contributes the pain to arthritis and old age. One week after the office visit, ended up admitted to the hospital with urological problems. Definitely not old age. So upset and disappointed.
Dr. Skomra Pushed surgery for my prostate cancer when the standard treatment should have been active surveillance - glad I got a second opinion regarding my treatment options. I have dropped him as my doctor.
If I could leave less than One star I would. I found Dr. Skomra to lack empathy and care more about hearing himself talk than listening to my concerns or taking my medical history. He was so consumed with hearing his own voice and the value of his time instead of talking to me he just shouted directives and fled the room. I was left feeling like did this seriously happen and helpless. He made me feel less than and that's unacceptable. He should leave the medical profession if he is that jaded he doesn't even care to listen to a patient and just jump to conclusions.
Professional and confident, seems to know what he is doing.
He is the best ...the only Dr I would trust with my life in his hands....he has certainly used his knowledge to make my life better and may have actually saved my life. I cannot thank him enough!! Clark W Gadd
Performed multiple test to obtain best outcome for the SLING surgery but we saw no improvement in my leakage control. Because my problem is multifaceted, and I have difficulty describing my issues, he would frequently cut me off. He was rude, getting very close to my face telling me how he thought the state my brother lives in should be pronounced. My husband is an R.N. and was flabbergasted when I told him some of the things the Doctor did while seeing and treating me.
I've been a patient of doctor Skomra for over 20 years now. He is a great doctor. Although that office is always full of people and he is very busy he actually takes the time to listen and connect with his patients. I am not giving a rating of 5 just because it is hard to schedule a procedure with him quickly but that is because he is so popular.
He did two times laser for kidney stone.one time I wait 4 hrs.i m not feel good &Still I have stone.i m not satisfied.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
