I have deleted my previous review, with some trepidation. To me: Customer Service is synonymous with Patient Care. My insurance carrier is telling me one thing and Diversified is saying something different. No one is taking responsibility and not a single apology. The prior authorization for my hearing aids expired on May 31, 2025, a new authorization was not requested until June 30, 2025. So to me, I obviously fell through the cracks, and was forgotten about. (I also know I am not there only patient). Until I blew up Diversified phones calling every number I could find. I admit I was loud, rude and belligerent. But, after not hearing anything for 2 1/2 month, and not a single word from Diversified, I was quite upset. Hopefully, the issue is resolved, but I will not know that for sure until July 21. Always advocate for yourself. Addendum; after very long, and frustrating time I finally got my new hearing aids, and I can hear again. I have been seeing Angela, the Audiologist, for approximately 5 yrs, to me she is the face of what Diversified should always be. It is always of pleasure to be seen by Angel, she is kind, knowledgeable, efficient and professional-all ways. I apologized to her my for previous behavior, it was never, ever directed at her personally. I truly appreciate Angel @ the Orchard Park office.

I found the staff to be very friendly. Little or no wait time & the audiologist was very patient and persistent until I was satisfied!

Approximately one year ago I was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I had symptoms for several years but just tried to work my way through. It has been very difficult as the Alzheimer’s has advanced. I was referred to Diversified Hearing by my neurologist. I made an appointment with Lauren Calabrese. Lauren has taught me how to make my life easier. She has shown me how to overcome obstacles. She has made my life better by being very patient, understanding and professional. I can’t even begin to describe all she has done to help. She goes above and beyond for me. She has done more good and worked tirelessly to support me. Lauren has spent her own time researching things to help. She is very well educated and knowledgeable about the disease. I would recommend anyone who has Alzheimer’s to see her and believe in her like I do. I’m not a religious person, but I thank God for her knowledge, caring and understanding. She has helped me more than any doctor or counselor.

I found Kelli Loss M.A. CCC-SLP to be a highly competent speech-language pathologist, and is exceptional at her profession. In addition, Kelli did an excellent job of working with me to put together a treatment plan that met all of my individual needs. I also appreciated the rest of the staff, who were both friendly and professional.

*updated review*: after we reached out to Carrie she was able to schedule us later in the week and performed the audiology exam personally. She was apologetic for the oversight and-for the rest of our experience with Diversified-everything was professional. I scheduled my two year old a hearing exam two weeks in advance only to arrive at the appointment and be told the proper equipment was at another office and I would have to reschedule. I was confused to say the least as to how such a basic level of communication could be overlooked. I was told there were attempts made to outreach our family however on our end we never received any calls. Eventually Ms Angela Minnifield clarified the event was a simple oversight-which is an umbrella term that fails to recognize the amount of organization, time, and effort required for the appointment. Having to take PTO only to be rescheduled for a careless mistake is frustrating to say the least.
