Dr. Geoffrey bernas is very knowledgeable and explains things in detail. At the follow up appointments he told me what I should be working on. I'm not the most patient individual and he took that into consideration. Dr. Bernas often reminded me what my end goal was. So I shouldn't try to speed up my recovery. With an acl surgery pushing the limits like how I wanted to isnt the best idea. I trust his knowledge. I definitely recommend him as a surgeon to others.

Dr. Bernas has a great bedside manor. Our experience so far has been wonderful. He has been very kind and has explained everything to us in such detail giving us all options. We are so at ease knowing how confident we are that he is taking care of our daughter

I have a great respect for Dr. Bernas with whom I have met with 3x now, if my memory serves me right. He isn’t quick to want to rush into surgery, unless absolutely necessary. If other methodologies can be utilized to improve or heal the injured area, he will offer those avenues to the patient first. (In my opinion, this is exactly the kind of Specialist I want to be aligned with!! Because if he says you need surgery, there is no question in my mind that there are no other options. Because of how he has treated me with 3 rounds of therapies, I TRUST him inexplicably).With this being shared, I have some decisions to make. 1) Do I live with my shoulder as is which is far better than it once was? 2) Do I receive injections as a plan of care as needed as I continue to age? 3) Do I have the surgery with the possibility of it becoming even better, worse or remaining the same?I trust Dr. Bernas to help guide me toward a decision when I meet with him next as he is the most trustworthy specialist I’ve had the fortune of having. I am very grateful.

The staff at UBMD ( Dr.Bernas Office) receptionist are extremely rude and ignorant (Hanna). When asked a simple question we were treated very poorly! Communication between staff and Dr. and Dr. to patient is extremely Poor. MRI, Op procedures were not gone over appropriately. Very insensitive to the patient and treats people like a paycheck. Does not listen to the patients concerns into not wanting something done, disregard for patient on all levels. Staff of Dr. also made very inappropriate comments in regards to children, family, etc. (Laura)

Dr. Bernas MD is caring of his patients and their physical well being. He does his utmost best to repair thr damage we do as humans, whether by accident or wear and tear of overusing the bodys joints.
