My old Primary retired due to the pandemic so I was with Dr Shanahan for only for 2 years after and had to change Doctors after this incident happened. I had a follow-up appt in July,office LPN Lori cancelled appt and I never received phone call regarding that. I was having new health issues, LPN didn't offer anything and said it was because I didn't do my lab work, which I honestly forgot about. LPN didn't offer me another prompt appt or same day clinic. I was told to eMessage the Doc. Dr Shanahan did reply and was professional. When I got an actual appt for problem soonest was 3 months later!!! Not acceptable at all...Dr Shanahan has no NP or PA working with her so it's hard to get in to see her promptly. I would not recommend Dr Shanahan solely based on her lack of appointment availability and uncaring unprofessional office staff. Dr Shanahan is a good doctor but needs "alot better" ofice staff and mid level providers to help. My new PMD has both NP & PA. : )

I was called within 5 min of my appointment time, love her staff, dr. Shanahan is very thorough and listen to any concerns you might have, and answers any questions you ask. I have been going to her for a little over 2 years and would recommend her to anyone !!

While I found Dr. Shanahan helpful when we met with her, the office staff is horrible. My son needed health forms completed for his school. I was told to give them 7-10 days. After 10 days I reached out and the paperwork had not been completed. After 15 days, still not done. I called several times and could never get anyone on the phone. After 25 days, I emailed and was then told the doctor was on vacation and would return on August 15th. I stressed in each and every email how important this paperwork was. By August 18th I still had not heard anything, so I emailed again. Paperwork was sent back to me incomplete and with very little filled in. While I think Dr. Shanahan may be a good doctor, her office staff is horrific. We will be finding a more responsive office for the future.

Dr. Shanahan, and her staff make you feel at home. The environment is clean, and they are always on time for appointments.

I have been seeing Dr. Shanahan for a few years now. She is an amazing doctor and cares so much about her patients. Josie is so caring and goes above and beyond. It means so much to know Dr. Shanahan and her amazing team are always there.
