Dr. Gurske is amazing, and I have never felt so grateful!! After continuing to suffer from ankle pain even after a prior surgery (different surgeon), Dr. Gurske gave me hope again. She was willing to do surgery, and discovered the root of my problem. She fixed up my ankle and for those of you who like OR pictures, she takes them and will send them to you! So cool to see the actual thing causing my pain. I am still recovering but I am confident that Dr. Gurske gave me my life back. As a 20 year old with chronic pain, I cannot thank Dr. Gurkse enough for finally getting me some relief. Expect long wait times in the office, but that is to be expected with any amazing doctor like this. She takes time with each and every patient, and I never felt rushed. Dr. Gurske is well worth waiting a while in the office. Dr. Gurske truly gave me my life back, and I’m so excited to finally not be in pain all the time.

Waited 2 hours for an 11am appointment- a 1/2 hour with a bare foot on clod floor. I left when we heard DR. going into another exam room after 2 hrs. This shows a total, unacceptable and arrogant lack of caring towards patients. As a Medical Doctor I have never/ would never have one of my patients wait this long. No one apologized that I was waiting this long or even seemed to care. It is a sad day that the Practice of medicine has become the Business of medicine and the practitioner(doctor) only cares about their own schedule and has no regard for the patients Schedule and time. Amazing!!! I am beyond thankful for her. I've lived in pain for years. She helped me tremendously. I dont wait long in her office, surgery went very well and communication is top tier. Forever grateful ❤️❤️

Mircle Worker. After years of having ankle problems and a condescending Doctor told me there was nothing wrong with me. I had a fatty deposit by my ankle. I got to the point that I could barely walk on that foot anymore. I went to Dr Guske-Deperio she explained everything to me and gave me the option to have surgery. After so many years of pain and agony I finally had an answer. I had ankle surgery Oct 9, 2019. It was a lengthy healing process. It was worth every minute. I saw Dr Gurske in the Airport Christmas 2021. I thanked her for giving my life back. I recommend her to anyone.

Post surgery notes Your surgeon can only perform surgery, the remainder is up to you to heal properly Take meds on time as prescribed for swelling and pain, it’s difficult to get the pain handled if you miss a dose Elevate to keep swelling down Rest frequently, when sleeping your body heals Non weight bearing means non weight bearing for proper healing Stay hydrated Eat properly for effective healing If applicable, take calcium supplements for bone healing If applicable, physical therapy and water therapy was extremely beneficial to my healing I followed Dr Gurske’s instructions and have experienced a successful recovery with no pain and no swelling after two major surgeries in two years. Dr. Gurske was able to identify what was causing constant pain and multiple sprains. No other doctor was able to figure out what was wrong but she did. She’s very nice and very thorough when it comes to explaining the problem and what your options are. She did Surgery on both of my ankles and they both feel so much better. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.
