I have been seeing Dr. Burns for about 10 years and I feel she has done a great job keeping my RA under control. I am 66 and maintaining a work schedule is important to my overall mental and physical well being. She has made this possible and is in tune with my physical limitations. Also, patient portal is remarkably quick to answer your questions and needs.

I have been seeing Dr. Burns for a few years now, and she is AMAZING! Kind, compassionate, and professional. She is the only one who has tried everything to get to the source of my chronic hives. Even though, we have yet to find the cause, she has diagnosed (through testing) a few other ailments that other doctors should have caught, but missed. I am indebted to her for taking the time to treat me as a human being and not just dismissing me as so many others have done. I highly recommend her to anyone who asks!

This doctor never explained my diagnosis, and doubted that I even had RA. Then she prescribed two heavy-duty medicines, first plaquenil and then methotrexate! I had told her I would take natural medicines since I was not suffering any pain. She ignored me. I had paid all my co-pays before canceling my last appointment (within a good time limit) and now I get a bill for an appointment I never had. I will never use this doctor again.

In all my years of visiting countless Doctors I consider Dr Burns to be one of the most concerned Doctor regarding all of my health issues which are numerous. She is thorough and patient no matter how busy her schedule is. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that inquired

I would strongly discourage anyone with fibromyalgia from seeing this doctor. In her opinion fibromyalgia is never a disabling condition and flare ups never last longer than 1-3 days. She will not under any circumstances document your condition for either short or long term disability. Staff is rude, disorganized, and cuts you off while talking. They lost my FMLA paperwork and then after follow up refused to complete it, putting my job in danger. Fibro patients look for a better educated and more caring doctor please!
