MIchael Grisanti's Online Review Report Card

I spent many years seeing Dr Grisanti and I never made progress in my treatments or Autoimmune issues. He never remembered anything about me or the AI issues or the treatment he ordered, even though I saw him every three months. He would send me for massive amounts of blood work and then he barely looked at the results, even when strange results showed up. He would prescribe medicines that are contraindicated for me, I would stop him and remind him why I couldn't take it and that we discussed it before and he'd say "it's a really good drug". He wanted me to start a biologic that has a prior test required to take the drug. All the test kits he had were out dated by two years and they couldn't test me. The day after the visit a nurse from the office called me and said Dr Grisanti wants you to start this medicine today. I told her about the test problem and she said "He wants you to start it today." I refused. I wasted a lot of time with this Doctor and I would never go back there.

STAY AWAY! Unless you want a egotistical, self indulging, one trick pony of a doctor, who if you ask his own infusion staff is too busy wasting money on elaborate lunches catered every day instead of focusing his time and attention on the overall health of his patients. When you call in the event of a flare up and ask to speak to a nurse you can expect to wait days for a lackluster response stating you need to set up an appointment with the "Dr." Weeks later when you actually do manage to get an appointment with "Dr" Grisanti be prepared for a rude encounter where when you explain the treatment plan he set up for you (the same one trick pony of a plan he has for every other patient) is not working and your inflammation is getting worse he becomes argumentative and states to give it more time. This mans pride gets in the way of taking proper care of his patients and I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

Tired to get an appointment for over a month. Nurse over the phone was rude and needs to find a new place to work. kept giving me the runaround and my doctor kept faxing over what they needed But they kept losing it or never finding it. Doctor would fax it over and they kept saying call back in a week its sitting in our fax pool. Then you call back and Oh its not there have them fax it again. Did that twice and Finley got mad and asked do you want me to go down there and hand it to you. they told me that they wont accept it like that.

I have been going here for years, such a wonderful and friendly staff! Dr. Mike is very kind and caring. This office is always clean, neat, and very professional. I have referred many family members and friends to join this practice as well and they love Buffalo Rheumatology too!

I have been seeing Dr. Mike for almost 25 years for Rheumatoid Arthritis. He has been great for me and has helped me remain independent with his aggressive treatment. I have had many many doctors in my life , but Dr. Mike has been my doctor for the longest time. He is kind, caring, and listens to all issues I may have. He is the best doctor I have had in my entire life

Came to Buffalo from California just to see Dr Grisanti...he was so through and knowledgeable and was able to give me advice and information that I had not heard from five other Drs.in California... Before I saw Dr Grisanti I was barely able to walk up the stairs I had such pain in my knees...after Dr Grisantis treatment and advice I was pain-free and able to enjoy Buffalo...He is a Dr. who truly listens to you and is interested in his patients ! Hes the Best!

The best of the best. He treats you like family not like cattle. He finds the best alternative to any possible problem.
