List of Phillip J Seereiter Jr Md's Reviews
Set up by my doctor to see specialist Dr. Seereiter for kidney stone pain and preventative care. Prior to the appointment, I passed the stone and ordered the stone to be tested for composition through Mercy Hospital. I contacted Dr. Seereiter's office to reschedule until I could get the kidney stone results. The nurse took my info, but stated I still needed to go to the appointment anyway. I arrived for the appointment and Dr. Seereiter was bewildered as to why I was still scheduled and even exclaimed “well this will be my easiest appointment all day”! The doctor performed no tests and the appointment was more like an encountered that lasted less than two mins, which ended with,"well, we can't do anything until we get those results back from the hospital.” In my next appointment, I met an unknown person (I don't remember his name) who called me into to the doctors' room to tell me I did NOT have cancer. I stated that “I'm not here for a cancer screening" and if that's all he had for me, that "this was another wasted day … I… He interrupted me, stood up and immediately canceled the appointment by directing me out of the examining room, stating if I had a complaint to talk to the manager. I talked to several people in the office, M. McDonald was to get back to me, but never called. Six months went by and Dr. Seereiters' office began “banging down my door" for the $25 co-pay for each appointment. I was floor, I received NO care, Nothing, and Dr. Seereiter office still charged the insurance company and tried to demand cash from me!! So I refused, I called the billing department and told them I was refusing to pay the $25 co-pays. Finally, I had two people called me back… and with the results, six months after the appointments and all because I was refusing to pay the $25 co-pay. Shameful practice!! Please note, throughout this ordeal, I asked and all but demanded to talk to Dr. Seereiter. Dr. Seereiter Never called, and I was told he would NOT call me back and if I wanted to talk to him, I had to set up an appointment.
Dr. Seereiter is the most thorough Doctor. Excellent in his field, very caring and answers all questions with concern for the patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Seereiter. He is the very Best.
Dr Seereiter does not explain anything in detail. He does not call you directly, has a nurse call which prolongs all diagnosis and often leads to having to come into office and see a PA, not even the doctor! He refuses to listen to you and refuses to hear any other concerns you may have. Impossible to get an appointment with him and surgery follow up is absolutely horrendous!!! My wife and I will never go back to him and I’m contemplating some sort of civil suit.
I found when I am talking he looks and listened to me and repeated what I had said to make sure he had it right. I have gone to see him 3 times. He is very helpful when answering questions and does not mind when I needed him to repeat directions. His staff was very nice to me.
Been with him for almost 20 years and got me through 4-5 kidney stone bouts and 1 implosion and removed a cancer tumor in my bladder I trust him fully with my life and do not hesitate to refer him to family and friends
Excellent down to earth.
took very good care of my husband steve at a very critical time. But was able to keep me in the loop & spoke to me like a human . explains things well.
While traveling through Buffalo on my way home from vacation, I suffered a sever urological emergency and ended up in the ER at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. I was treated by Dr. Seereider promptly, professionally and successfully. He treated me with compassion and complete understanding. He was great, as was the entire ER staff at Mercy Hospital! Kudos to all!

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
