Took forever to get an appt. I’ve had hives for two and a half months and been taking everything you could think of. Been very open with my dr about it, what I was doing, etc. the allergy office told me I couldn’t have Benadryl or any antihistamines five days before. I went there on a Tuesday and he asked me to see the hives. Weirdly enough four days prior they stopped. I showed him photos and he said he couldn’t do anything seeing I didn’t currently have any. (Also I had 3 on my elbow but that was all) he said it wasn’t something I ate and it wasn’t contact so he couldn’t do anything. I asked if he was going to do some testing because that was what I was there for, he said no and there was no reason to do it. Two weeks later and I have just a few spots of hives on random parts of my body. I asked him why he couldn’t have told me this over the phone or a video msg seeing I’ve been very open and transparent about everything. He said because you needed my doctors opinion. I almost flew off the handle. He is also very hard to understand.

Dr. Honeine was absolutely wonderful! He was personable, informative, and thorough and even joked around with my 2 young daughters which they got a kick out of. He did not make us feel rushed which is so important to me and even asked if we had any more questions before leaving the room. I was unhappy with our previous allergist and am so glad I decided to switch to Dr. Honeine. I feel very comfortable having my daughter under his care and I will recommend him to anyone who is looking for an allergist!

Dr Honeine was fabulous. Took lots of time and great care to make sure my son and I felt informed and comfortable with all of the information around my son’s changing allergy conditions. He was pleasant and warm and treated us as equals. I would absolutely recommend him to others!
