My husband had an appointment for phone consult..they were supposed to call at 3:00...waited for call..never received..Then they called and tried to charge us for a no show..
My husband had an ercp preformed by Dr Roy with complication of perforated duodenum, which is not wholly an unexpected complication. After several hours in Oswego hospital ED he was transferred to Rochester general hospital. I believe I saw Dr Roy in the ED discussing my husbands transfer- he did not come in to see us or have any follow up with my husband.
Waited over a month for my appointment they were supposed to call and check me in because it was a telemed appointment it was for 2:30 I called them at 3:00 they checked me in and said the doctor will call me when it was my turn well they close at 4:30 so I called back at 4:26 they said it was because of me not checking in when they we supposed to call me.
He was rude and took less then 5 minutes talking just to say ok "my job is done if your not having pain" mind you this was the first time he laid eyes on my son over a video call. He did nothing and my son is still sick and in pain. I would of gave him zero stars .
Would not recommend this place after I was lied to regarding having colonoscopy performed by someone in training after I was told minutes before colonoscopy the doctor was performing procedure. When I questioned the doctor regarding the person in training in the room after I was wheeled into surgery I was told do not worry I will be here if anything goes wrong and he then nodded to the anesthesiologist to put me out.The doctor was not even man enough to tell the truth in his statements to oswego hospital and New York state health investigators.Would you have someone in training perform a colonoscopy on you after having over 20 polyps removed the previous year? Was told my many people including health professionals, hell no...
They have cancelled many appointments on me and a few other people I know. I have had the last 4 canceled... all last minute cancellations as well... would highly NOT recommend this place.
Missed diagnosis. Failed to run basic blood tests which could have identified celiac and lactose intolerance. Instead went right to invasive colonoscopy, heavy duty antibiotics (without a diagnosis), antidepressants, and radiation-inflicting scans. Left me with a diagnosis of ibs, no further advice. Like pulling teeth to get to see the dr, you only get PAs. What could have been a simple diagnosis and treatment turned into long-term illness, confusion, permanent damage. Don't go here.
A good doctor
I had a very bad experience. It is impossible to see the doctor unless your colonoscopy is abnormal, they told me, so I had to see PAs. They couldn't find anything wrong with the colonoscopy, so gave me a catchall diagnosis of IBS and offered me antiobiotics and antidepressants, despite me telling them that SSRIs make my gut even worse and give me withdrawal. I got a shrug and "we'll, that's what we usually recommend." I asked about a dietician and got a shrug. The whole experience felt like a dead end. Much later another doctor found celiac disease and malabsorption due to bacterial overgrowth. But by then the disease had progressed and I have developed multiple complications: autoimmune thyroiditis, vitamin deficiencies, iron anemia, b12 anemia, and extensive neurological damage. I'm 31 and have spent the last few years becoming progressively disabled while searching desperately for care. This office did not strike me as a place where they give you much time and attention. They basically just churn out colonoscopies.
Everyone in the office is so nice to me when I come in I really feel important when I go there

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
