Dr Carmen Bautista-Dator has been my physician for over 10 years now. I trust her completely. She has compassion and true concern about the well being of her patients.
She tells it like it is, and is more than helpful for patients who want to improve their health. She is responsible and caring. But, you have to be willing to take responsibility for your own health behaviors. She will help with that too. She has been my doctor for years and has helped me to become healthier as I grow older.
I have been very pleased with Dr. Carmen Dator. She is knowledgeable and personable. She has always treated me with respect and helped me effectively with any health issues I had. I have recommended her to my friends on many occasions. She gives excellent advice, and I have benefitted from her wisdom.

Dr. Dator has always treated me like a human being. On my first visit, instead of prescribing antidepressants or anti-anxiety medication when I discussed being fatigued and down, she asked me questions about my life and suggested blood work first to see if I had any vitamin deficiencies. It was a huge relief, and she has helped me help myself for several years since. She is not interested in treating people who are not helping themselves, i. e., she does not see people who smoke cigarettes because there's not much she can do if the patient is destroying their health with poor choices. I like her professional standards. She is a no BS kind of doctor. The reason for four stars instead of five is that her front desk staff, though kind, messes up paperwork and doesn't return phone calls sometimes. I'm not the Queen of England though and I realize mistakes can happen. They fix any mistakes when I bring them to their attention. Dr. Dator is open to alternative/holistic treatments and is supportive of positive changes on the patient end--she is always happy to fill out the necessary paperwork I need for my HSA account to pay for yoga, orthopedic massage, gym memberships, etc. for pain and stress management. No coddling in this office, but definitely treated with respect.
I’ve been going here for about 1.5 years, and while I’ve had some difficulty getting ahold of the office at times via phone, my in-person visits have been love. Dr.Dator takes time to explain things and is very knowledgeable. The nurses on staff are also very kind and knowledgeable.
Where do I start... Dr. Carmen is a nice person. She was always eager to help me when I first started to see her. But when I kept going to her, it seemed like she just wanted to be done with me and would get through the appt. really fast. She almost always wanted to prescribe me to some weird drug when I told her my first symptom. I have a little bit of anxiety issues and was on Lexapro once and didn't like it... She insisted that I go back on it or try something similar even though I told her I didn't want to take any more drugs. She would rush through my appointments and walk out quick when She was done before I could ask any questions. I wanted a certain test done and she told me that I didn't need it done, but I wanted it to feel better. She sent me to someone else to preform the test and they asked why I didn't get it at my general doctors office. I told them what had happened and they were disgusted by her. They said she could have easily done the test herself. SO she didn't feel like helping me feel better and was lazy. Not going back to her.
The office staff is not very competent. Dr. Dator seems like a good doctor to me...she seems concerned and asks good questions...but like most doctors, I think she has too many appointments each day.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
