Keith A. Nichols's Online Review Report Card

Very bad experience with these people. I was seen by Dr. Nichols when I first moved back to Owego and very much liked his service. I tried to line him up as my primary care doc but was treated badly by the office manager because I am a Medicaid patient and was rudely refused. I wanted this doctor bc he sees many of my family members and does a great job. Several years later I was in need of a prescriber for my medication and the options are very limited. I called and was never called back several times. I wrote two letters explaining my situation and urgent need of his services...I live two blocks from his office and at the time was without transportation so anywhere else presented a lot of logistical issues. I sincerely requested his services in the most articulate and respectful manner and was completely ignored both times I sent letters. I feel like at the very least he could have contacted me and acknowledged my request even if it were to decline me. I felt put off and very disappointed as if I were a second class citizen. It really hurt my feelings that someone in Dr. Nichols position could not even dignify my communication with any kind of response.

If you want your medical doctor to be intelligent curious caring and accessible then you wont be disappointed with the care provided Dr. Keith Nichols and his staff.

Dr. Nichols is the most knowledgeable internal medicine physicians in our area. He makes me feel comfortable and optimistic no matter what condition he is treating.

My wife and I have been with Dr Nichols for almost 10 years. The doctor and his staff are excellent with our care. The patient care relationship and understanding of our health needs cannot be compared to the corporate facilities available.

I have had plenty of doctors throughout my years but none as smart dedicated thorough and as caring as this man. I trust him with my health. He keeps me informed and we work together to stay on track with weight blood levels and wellness. If I need some issue addressed I call him. He answers or calls me back. I highly recommend him for others who take an active role in their health care.

Excellent caring physician. Extensive fund of medical knowledge. The Doctor communicates diagnostic and therapeutic plans clearly. To me hes a doctors doctor and has earned my admiration and respect over 3 decades. Very good fellow.

I’ve been dealing with bladder cancer for 6 years and finally had to decide to get a cystectomy. The whole idea of such a radical procedure was daunting. Thanks to Dr. Nichols I was able to navigate myself to a competent surgeon who worked with Dr. Nichols to help me decide the best path. I never felt alone as I travelled a path that no one really wants to go. I owe a lot to Dr. Nichols.
